Well they finally called back coming over at 4, my wife is in a mood about the price. She is pissed that they quoted her $180, she says she is sure they are expecting a tip. I said I will give them $200 same reason I pay extra and buy stuff like softener salt in town at a higher price, because you pay extra to have the service available. $200 and I don't have to do anything.

I did not go into the office I stayed home and made phone calls that are best not had in the office with my door closed. I am nice until time to be nice and my job is to wring out orders and maintain market dominance and when your efforts do not align with my goals there are consequences. To be honest if I did not do my job I would neglect what I get paid to do, I get paid to fill the funnel. I would be neglect if I did not replace an underperformer, sorry not sorry.

Educating my neighbors on well water since they decided to flush the well while I was gone. Funny the chemical in the well did not eliminate dissolved minerals in the water. I showed them a diode you install in the water heater that eliminates the odor when you shower, and eliminates the biggest complaint. If only they asked a guy that has pulled water from the ground or surface water and moved it for 40 years. I should have bought the diodes and sold them to the neighbors as a special cure at $200 each.

New flooring installed from Lowe’s and new appliances installed from Home Depot.

Not one of the workers spoke English…

I knew I should have taken Spanish in high school, but I didn’t know this was the reason why.

Funny you have an iPhone you don't need to speak Spanish. I worked with a hispanic crew in California I quit trying Spanish because they could not explain the reason why the word car in Spanish is caro, then laugh at me when I said trucko for truck.

I just googled it and copy and pasted

I don't need to learn Spanish unless I plan on going to Mexico, which I do not.

Me, too. When my father's family came to the US, grandfather in about 1890-91; grandmother and two kids came in 1905. All went through Ellis Island; I have my grandmother's immigration papers. They settled in Eastern Ohio. Eastern Europeans as Slovaks, Czechs, Russians, Poles, Hungarians, at al, had to learn English. No one put signs in their stores in any of their languages.

Sunday morning flight 10 am return Friday at 4 pm. Restaurant meals and hotel rooms in the first week of November when there is a ground blind on the edge of field sitting empty. The next week gone Thursday thru Sunday gone so I will bat clean up after my son in law fills his tag or tags during gun season.

There should be a regular season MLB championship and then the best that $ can buy post season championship.

Personally, I am quite happy with this year's World Series. First time in 32 years I have had a dog in the fight. GO BLUEJAYS.

Scratched off MLB after the Braves washed out of any wildcard, etc. Oldest grandson played AAA, Gwinnett Stripers, for a while and was moved to assistant batting coach at their development team. Obviously, we have a connection to the Braves. Just waiting for spring training to start another year.

    Insanity.

Tripped and fell at work this morning. Thought all was well, but then wrist started to swell and throb. Went to works medical provider of choice. They semd me for X-rays and tell me to return after for follow up of X-rays and work restrictions if needed. Get X-rays and head back, get a call as I'm pulling in. Possible fracture go to ortho specialist. Get to specialist and they have no idea on anything, I have to call my work to get workers comp info and stuff not even available yet as it just happened. Without it I can't ne seen.

These 3 places are all the same medical clinic.

    How in the flying eff!

    Ugh

    I do have a fracture

Thursday morning 2:36 AM , I hear loud crash and glass breaking, damn it someone is breaking in. A flawless execution of getting my hand gun and out the bedroom door I charge, mistake 1:

I went charging out like I was trying to take a hill. I have the gun down at my side and 4 steps out the door I hit something and down I go.
I do my best rambo move as I believe at this point I ran into the intruder and now he's on the other side of me, between me and my wife, my second mistake.

I roll up draw my gun and at this point I am 100% convinced I am going to have to shoot this SOB, it's dark and I take aim and go hmmm. That looks like a buck look to me. Turns out my 170+ mount fellow off the fire place and broke the glass of the door.

Learned what not to do, next time open door with gun up and take a look.
