Lets play "can you top this sh***y monday morning". Black lab got sprayed by a skunk first thing this morning when I let her outside. Let her in house before realizing she was the source. She didn't get on anything and I got her back outside right away, but whole house smells like skunk now too. After dealing with everything involved with that, got in pickup to go to work. Dead batteries. Has given me zero signs the batteries were getting weak before this. Well played monday, well played.

Yeah, I got nothing… the bosses boss made commitments to Audit on Friday when I was OOO getting some expensive dental work done. I’ve been on calls all morning, meeting. People on 3 continents working on the problem and solution. Just a typical Monday. Between calls, I did confirm I need more LeukoTape and electrolytes for my elk hunt in 32 days…
3 days shy of 51 and for the first time know what a rectal exam entails while awake...... 4 1/2 hours in the ER and back home. Didn't do a CT scan so have no idea where the internal bleeding is coming from. Didn't feel I had lost enough blood to be overly concerned. Going to schedule with a GI tomorrow, maybe they'll get a bit more involved but sucks it will not be covered with copay like ER would have been. Blood pressure was unreal, at one point 147/110. Sent me home anyway
Don't let them put that GI too far out. Get you regular Doc to pressure the hospital if they do. God Bless and best wishes
Grrrr, so I cannot get a GI referral without a follow visit with my primary Dr. first. ER copay, Primary copay, specialist copay....... So my previous primary care retired a little over a year ago. I got set up with my current one, but the kicker is, I have never met her in the 1st two visits. I seen the nurse practitioner both times. Same this time, appt. is with her again as well as my previously scheduled 6 month check up. I think when this is resolved I am going to find a new primary. I find it a bit ridiculous that in what will be 2 years, I have yet to meet my alleged primary care physician. On the other note, I go in at 3:30pm on Monday for my follow up for referral. Who knows how long it's going to take to get in for any procedures after the referral.... CT scan, colonoscopy and waiting on preapproval etc.., can just imagine what colonoscopy prep night before would be like with the bleeding. Hopefully don't have to go that route and just do a CT scan to aee where the bleeding ia occurring. If she even tries to suggest a rectal exam I'll politely deny the request. Nothing's going to be different in 4 days, and I do not submit to being violated at will
Dr.'s office juat called back. They were able to get me in to see the GI who did my colonoscopy 8:30 Tuesday morning. Canceled my appointment with primary as it serves no purpose and saves a copay.
Son has his big bash at the lake this weekend. Feeding the fish and spearing bullheads was a real hit. One of the guests complained of how barbaric it was to spear the fish. I explained to her it was ok all the bullheads are released after they are speared. Then she was ok with it.
Travel in the morning get back Friday night then head to the airport next Sunday morning, I hate back to backs and Sunday flights. Have to be back for a big meeting next week.
Great day to fly the the SE coast. Jekyll Island GA. I will have time to get to my hotel and stock up on beer.
Yeah in Atlanta flying to Brunswick, I know that flight will be delayed Friday and I will be down graded to coach land in Minneapolis at 11:30 Friday night will get home at 2:30 Saturday morning and leave my house Sunday morning at 9:00. So glamorous being an owner doing things you would not expect out of an employee.
