It's literally 100 degrees out. Too hot to do anything outside…in a brief moment of insanity, I thought today would be a good day to replace an upstairs bath vent fan and light, ya know it’ll be in air conditioned space…

After much muttering, I got the old light, fan and vent housing box out. It was then like having a blow torch blowing in your face for the next hr or so, with the attic heated air pouring down on my face along with fiberglass insulation and 30 years of random debris for the next hr or two…(I needed to expand the ceiling hole for the new vent housing, require and eventually install the new unit).

Needless to say there was amble dripping of tools and random small parts (screws, drill bit, Phillips head bit), instruction booklet multiple times, and a hammer that fortunately missed the toilet…

Yes it was ruff today. Noticed our water starting to stink so I shocked the well. While waiting on the chlorine to do its job I did some outdoor chores and was dripping wet by noon. The pool never felt better.

Our well has a hole in the side of the casing. Wonder what that repair cost is going to be?
