The press and people stating people who make a good amount of money don't pay their fair share of taxes. These are some of the dumbest people on the planet. Look at the taxes for people making hundreds of thousands and beyond...they out pay 95% the rest of the population.

They're the same people who pay for their taxes to be done so they pay the least amount possible.

Hypocrites that are on a different pay scale so it looks more impactful.

So who here doesn’t take all the credits and deductions they can in order to pay more taxes than they are supposed to?

Have the new couch installed I came home to some cover on the couch, it wasn't clear plastic but I asked my wife what are we going on 70 with furniture covers? Reminded me of my grandma's living room, can't sit on the good couch.

Deduction- I have it. Loophole- You have the deduction.
I pay a CPA to do my taxes. My wife used to go to one of the walk-in tax services and they screwed me regarding business expenses.
A fellow told me that pro football players were told not to file income tax. Then down the road, they get one of the companies to negotiate and pay a fraction of what was originally owed.
A state had a part of their state tax return where people could pay above their required tax payment. They got $300.

If I have to hear one more Fing time that the weather and these storms are "Global Warmig" issues my brain is going to explode!
It's a Global change alright, it is a cycle, we have moved from one earth cycle to another and there is no changing that. It is a living thing and it has these REPEATING cycles to maintain it's general "health"
    So SHUT THE F UP
Stuff your politics then go find historical books on weather change, patterns and and the suns effect on said as well.
Oh and BTW STOP Stop Thinking you know better than ma nature and keep your effig chemicals out of our atmosphere. Your not Ma Nature , your not God and you have ZERO business trying to change the weather, period!

oldnotdead, Will Rogers said everybody talks about the weather but doesn't do anything about it. My mother and her parents talked about the 1937 flood in Wheeling, West Virginia. Took a riverboat ride and looked waaay up at the high water mark on the water intake in Louisville, KY.
Heard congressman Bill Brock make the statement: The government comes up with a crisis so they can throw money at it. Sound familiar?
Ever wonder what the weather was like 2,000 years ago in the Western Hemisphere?

I actually looked up western hemisphere weather 2,000 yrs ago...rather interesting based off of tree rings, rock discoloration and soil cores. Not pure speculation on what MIGHT happen. You know like how many times speculation KILLED ALL LIFE ON EARTH from an ice age to destroying all life through heat. I Suppose after this year it will be a Great biblical flood.

Problem is funding for studies like that is from a biased source. Like the meme bill posted about what scientists tell us dinosaurs looked like vs an x ray view of a beaver tail.

Minnesota experiences frequent severe storms, including hailstorms, tornadoes, and windstorms, which cause significant property damage. In recent years, the state has seen an increase in "billion-dollar" weather and climate disaster events, with 2022 being the costliest year on record for storm damage. These events include drought, flooding, and wildfires, but severe storms, particularly hailstorms, are the most frequent drivers of property damage.

Funny I have not filed a claim from all the extreme events. So like illegal immigration I write a check to foot the bill.

If only insurance worked that way, you're paying for Texas, Florida and California's. They thank you for your support

Actually you should ask for the 15% back, we just won't record the events anymore, so no need to charge more money

I have no issues when they are honest about premiums going up, blaming climate change is BS, liberal BS. I think I am going to put a climate change fee on leachate collection pumps.

I have another rant, I have spent weeks wet sanding and buffing, patching gel coat I have touched every inch of the ski boat. I put the new decals on this morning and will wax the boat this afternoon. From the engine to the transmission hull and interior my 1990 boat looks good as new. Nobody will notice they just want to play.
