What did Bukowski say? Something like, "It's not that I don't like people; it's that I seem to be happier when they're not around."
Most people who state this about RV do so because they can't afford one When it's pouring outside don't come knocking on my RV's door, enjoy the outdoors has to offer. AKA Glamper
Was at a hockey tournament in the Twin Cities a few weeks ago when one guy and two ladies decide to drink in the hallway at 11:30 PM. To their credit they were friendly enough when I asked them if they could not drink and be loud in front of my room door. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
Despite all the outdoor stuff I do and even the fact I have no problem sleeping on the dirt... I try to never camp merely for the sake of camping. I camp because it's a means to an end. Like a hunting or fishing outing. But to camp for fun? No way. Bleagh.. Sent from my SM-G950U using Tapatalk
Yep. I don't have an "RV", but I do have a pretty decent travel trailer. If I'd bought an F350 instead of an F250 I'd already have one of those huge 5th wheels to pull behind it for deer hunting.
I grew up in the Pacific North West; rain does not bother me in the least. Only heat indexes of 100F. Somehow, I think wife would have been a tad upset if I made the family and 8-month-old baby sleep in a tent. You are right, I can't afford with one living on one salary while my wife is home with three kids. Maybe someday, when the kids are out of the house and I am ready to admit that I am old . Until then, I look forward to five days of tent camping in Mt. Hood National Forest in Oregon coming up in July.
I've done a lot of things in the rain. As a child, had a wonderful day of relentless fish-catching in a rain storm one august. had a great day of turkey hunting in the rain about 7 years ago. Walked a guard post for four hours (12 AM to 4 AM) in the rain as a young marine. I just turned 50. Rain can kiss my ass. **** tent camping if there's an RV or camper available.
Boarding flight in Albany NY at 5:25 get to minneapolis at 11:54 and another hour and a half home. I was going to complain about the delay until I saw the color guard assembling, changes the mood a little I will get home an hour and a half late and the soldier in the hold is getting home for the last time.
*cheers* The older I feel the more I enjoy creature comforts. I used to scoff at my dad for wanting to hunt the sunny side of the mountain in the morning when I was a young man. I totally understand now; what a genius an older man is.
https://www.msn.com/en-us/news/worl...tested-with-dna-samples/ar-AAxFHJm?li=BBnbfcL Legend of Loch Ness Monster will be tested with DNA samples Sure, I bet that works out well. What was all that hubub about not cross contaminating DNA samples for the last, like...forever? This reminds me of that part in The Force Awakens (The Farce Awakens) where Finn tells Han, "We'll use the force" and Han snaps back..."THAT'S NOT how the force works" Talk about pissing on people's heads and trying to convince them it's raining...this guy should be sued for fraud.
The wife's Instagram account was hacked, the process to get it back in painful, but I really like the new Mrs. Germ pictures she post, lol
