Today's NBA. I try to watch, I never can. Starters get 7 minutes rest between Qtrs 1 & 2 and 3 & 4. They flop like Dennis Rodman drunk, and a small pinky slap tobthe face has them doubled up on the ground crying. Tonight Haliburton requests outbyet again after being shut down. Sad! Down by 15? Coach, I felt a strain in my calf/hammy, sub me out. I miss the Days of Jordans, Pippens, Hardaways, O'neals, Malones, Mutaumbo's(sp?), Kemps, Millers, Ewings, Barkleys, Paytons, Stocktons and even delving into the Kobe years. Sports are being sissified, be it next generation players or executive rules/decisions to make it more equal. Hard to watch any, anymore.
Like the NFL blame fantasy wagering on loose rules favoring the offense because that rakes the $ in. People still want to argue that fantasy sports has ruined the games, it is all manipulated.

So miserable outside with the heat and humidity the grandsons have their RC toys outside on the patio while they sit in the air-conditioning and run them.
Yesterday my grandson asked me a question that terrorized me. He asked me if I had more guns other than the one in the front closet. That 20 gauge is kept in the back of the closet (unloaded) and behind jackets. I always unload my hand gun when the boys come over but the fact that my grandson found that gun scared the hell out of me.
Trigger guard or make sure the ammo is a looong way from the 20 ga. I've never had my grandkids wander through the house.
The ammo was on a shelf in the closet 6' off the floor, the 5 year old could not reach it. Trigger locks do not belong on defense weapons.
I went to NAPA today to get tranny fluid for the ski boat. I go in an associate with **** in his face and gauges asks if he can help me, I replied I need 2 quarts of DEXIII tranny fluid. Kid gives me a look and says it is transmission fluid, I said you can call it that but I will refer to fluid as I have for years before kids got sensitive. DA punk kid going to correct this old man's grammar? Good luck cup cake.
Buffing sucks, you start and it slowly becomes better but it seems to take twice as long to get it good enough. Doesn't help that I am using a heavy duty Milwaukee angle grinder.
Idiots that feel 9:30 to midnight on work nights are good hours to set off fireworks outside of the Independence Day date/weekend. I've bought and set off my fair share in my life, but I always took into account day of the week and time of night when doing so. Sometimes I only wish to wake up to news stories on loss of fingers and hands. Small price to pay for stupidity.
