Spent $5 for a dozen eggs today. Never spent that much before.

    Eff Trump?

Nope, seem to remember it was the Biden administration that had farms of poultry/dairy products catching fire or being destroyed.

Eggs were nearly $7 a dozen a couple weeks ago.

    Never!

Got the hardest part over; got out all the wet dry wall and some rotten framework. Replaced the frame pieces, new drywall hung with the help of a friend, still need to mud it in and paint. That may wait until next weekend.

Down in Florida emptying out the house supposed to head home Wednesday, realized this morning that I have tickets to go see Sturgil Simpson on Tuesday night. I am not missing that concert.

I'm just looking to recover monthly feed. Which isn't much now that they are on pasture. I caught them on my clover plot cam and they use the front wet field for worms and blk. slugs.

Yah, I just can't do much usually just give them away but winter feeding is winter feeding. That said, they give me over flow then as well. Last night 12 eggs and they had to be penned all day due to weather.

$5/dz around here seems to be the popular price...may be just to minimize making change.

OND, I'd up your prices and keep any extra in a mason jar, just in case the price of scratch goes up.

    FML! Again!

Tonight I suffered one of the things I can guarantee everyone here has feared and narrowly missed by mere inches a time or two.

Cooked a partial boneless ham for supper tonught amd a few lunch sandwiches for the week.

Cut off a fee slices and threw some rolls in the oven. Rolls got done and I was doing something, so the timer went off a few times. Hurried to the kitchen and just as I was turning the corner I seen it, nearly in slow motion.

My Shun chef knife sliding off the pan I rested it on and right towards the edge of the stove top. I started doing the foot shuffle and lost. I don't know exactly what happened just heard some thuds and felt a few hits.

When it finally stopped I looked at the top of my foot and sure enough dead center stab mark and 2 toes had clear blade marks.

End result unknown, one toe bled and one did not and center punch looks to have went 1/4 to 1/2" deep. Thinking it had to have lost momentum somehow, had it dropped straight down it would have easily went through to the floor. Thinking it may have bounced or maybe oven door handle caused it to rotate on the eay down and lost angle.

Wrapped band aids and some gauze and scotch tape tight ttying to stop the bleeding.

Not looking forward to a 10 hour day in steel toe boots tomorrow.

Watch was right there, don't think that will help

I can't make up my life right now, just one thing to the next and nothing good in between.

I've got it wrapped so tight right now. Tried to stop the bleeding and use liquid skin, but bled through so just wrapped it.

    Gosh darn the luck

F U Sturgill Simpson, I spent way too much $ to finally see you in concert. I wanted to listen to the lyrics of the songs that made me a big fan, not hours of self indulgent guitar solos, I walked out long before it was over. Sturgill you are not Stevie ray vaughn, glen Cambell or Roy Clark you are not a guitar savant sing your Fing songs.

I flew back a day early from Florida I was sitting next to a woman that was pissed to be in first class, her and her husband had to fly commercial because her husbands plane was not available. They were flying to Minneapolis for the Timberwolves game. She looked like she had a million $ in diamond bracelets on. She was half her husbands age, I wanted to ask what she does for a living but let's be honest her husband is filthy rich, she has one job.

Hubby took eggs to work sold them and ended up with 3 more orders. My only request, bring back the container or pay a dollar more.
