They are efficient and beautiful birds. We've had breeding pairs for years and last year watched them training their hatchlings. They have cleaned up the chippers and squirrel. Redtails work on the mice , to no avail. The owls have been great on the ferrel cats which were a real problem for a while. Love their rodent killing but they - iss everywhere and get into out buildings and hay barns.

It was a little hectic, so I guess I missed this. All great info, sir. It's all under control currently and hopefully stays that way.

In Minnesota we have fire sprinkler kits in the fire Catche I was in the Boundary waters on a fire and tasked with protecting a 1/2 mile portage. We plumbed that whole portage sprinkler heads every 50' staggered on each side of the trail. Ran 300 gpm thru it and paddled away and watched the flame front die a half mile flank that was crowning a bit no aircraft drops on it just died. We were rewarded by being the only crew that motored in and out of the wildness every day, so fun to go full throttle past the wilderness line where outboards are not allowed and getting paid to do it.

Why one needs cams on their home. Daughter was home and heard a loud bang outside. She goes out front to see an Amazon truck trying to back out off nieghbors drive. Well nieghbors garage door was completely caved in off tracks and broken. She yells out STOP you are on cameras. The neighbor has 7 cameras all around their home. Well this 21 yr old kids gets out screaming at her to mind her own F ing business. By that time she was on phone with owner. He pulls up cam footage as he had also gotten an alert. Daughter is keeping driver there as he continues to threaten ,curse and scream at her. Now all these ppl are friendly with law enforcement. They were there in moments. She didnt "tell" on him for his "attitude" because he was about to lose his job and get charged. Well They asked if she wanted to press charges for the cam review was sent to them immediately by owner who was at work. She declined.
Well a "shot" show for owner due to subcontractor of Amazon. Cams saved owner, home owners, BUT still 3 wks later no fix yet. They are paying but without the cameras they may have been out of luck , even with police report.

    PS
he had left the truck in gear and hopped out to drop off package, lucky he hadn't pinned himself between garage and truck.

How bad is it up your way? We've gotten plenty so far, and looks like tonight and tomorrow it's gonna be a lot more.

We have had almost 6" in Little Rock by tomorrow morning, rain will last until Sunday morning, expecting 8-9" by the time it finally quits.

I think I am going to get an emotional support dog to go with me everywhere. A canine bodyguard.

I would prefer a German Shepard trained by Halley Berry like in John Wick 3. Or Mr Nobody's dog in Wick 4

I do miss Pita still to this day, as soon as the pontoon is in we will be spreading her ashes, Pita loved her boaters and the small cups of ice cream.

Those dogs didn’t seem like emotional support type dogs to my way of thinking.
