FML have to leave home Sunday afternoon to check into a hotel by the office because I have reps coming into town and have to do dinner Sunday night, then a flight to Detroit Tuesday back home Thursday night and a flight to Tampa Sunday. April isn't looking much better either.
Absolutley beautiful temps , 50's, and impossible to go out. Was raining but the winds are so awful they literally take your breath away. All trees look like skewers in a blender. Between the dead trees ,widow makers ready to kill you ya, we have soft ground and weakened roots to take ya out
I have to finish cutting up the trunk of the tree that I cut down. It is half on the bank and half on the lake and must be done today because of the ice conditions. I have a Husky with a 20" bar it is a consumer grade saw, I loath cutting with a sissy saw it bores me. Thing is I can't justify having a pro grade saw that cuts like a mother. I miss a big saw with double dogs that does not bog down in an oak trunk. I preferred a 20" bar for balance limbing with a long bars sucks too.
Makes no difference, son took the Gator out back and just above the mid hill swamp. Called me and said the hill side looks like a series of TeePees. Honest to pete I don't even want to go look...it was the turkeys favorite roosting area.
I have been watching Amish auctions. WTH! Chickens selling for between 35 and 55 a bird! I'm going to attempt to hatch a full brooder of eggs this year.

Not an actual rant, well maybe. Tomorrow I finally get my cancer removal. Mind you first discovered last fall. Not confirmed until Dec. and now finally surgery. Has it weighed on my mind yeppers. Am I lucky?, well yes and send prayers for SIL mom, who is fighting eye cancer. Also all the recent ppl I've discovered with serious heart issues, not being able to get proper testing for up to 5 mos. and more. I'm talking ppl. younger than me. Ppl that have other health issues being forced to wait months for testing that could lead to bad out comes. No one is addressing this in main stream. Also , we actually have great insurance yet have to put everything on our credit card. Then submitt all the paper work ourselves to insurance and our deductable supplemental coverage.
I want to preface my post by acknowledging that I am an *******, whole town knows. I am at a conference in East Lansing MI MSU. Decided to stay at the Hilton Graduate right by campus. I check in the hotel the individual that helped me fit the profile , at 180 you dye the hair, at 200 pounds you go with the hardware store in the face. Had pronouns on the name tag and also identified as a spirit animal, I was so tempted to ask what breed of pig? Thank god my cartoon bubble of thought is invisible.
I went and got breakfast for us this morning at McDonald’s. Never get breakfast there but today I did. They charged me $1 for two packets of hot sauce. Are you kidding me.
I just got back from surgery Entire side of nose and under eye bandaged. Several stiches. I have orders to do nothing until Friday . Went in at 9:15 out at 12 30. Went well but did inital then had to check that again and an hour later they took more and stitched me up. Alls well there now. That's OK I can't finish euro due to bucket froze solid last night. 66 yesterday twenties overnight.
Thanks Sorta, I'm sure it will go well. Getting a tad, hhhmmmm, noticable now, I can smell the burnt flesh and a bit itchy. That will pass. I'm glad weather turned wild cold and windy again. Makes my marching order easier...lol
I got a colonoscopy on Friday...$55 for the prescription to poop my brains out. Would've been cheaper to get the gas station sushi.
