Not sure who needs to hear this, but when Drunk You tells you, 'oh, yeah, that 2 day old sushi is fine', he's effing lying.

    It's not fine.

What a day yesterday, I got up early to go to the farm to get another load of cow crap. I got the truck full to the brim was driving out of the barn yard and cut a side wall. Problematic the spare tire was already on the truck. So much for going early getting stuff done and get back home.

    Nightmares
I rarely have them but last night I had some bizarre ones. Back to back . The only one that remains clear is the last, being attacked and palms knawed at by charging rabid skunks.

Hhhhmmmm. Finish the Harry Potter series Saturday

These horrific storms with 50% chance of more on the way. As bad as it is with loss of human life and infrastructure, imagine the animal loss.
We went through the 72 floods in NYS. Bad, not as bad as this, but I vividly remember the weeks after. The stench of rotting animals and fish laying across the "flats" that bordered the Genesee River. Bodies everywhere

Employees that do not do their damn job. When there is a problem the file goes on my desk, it usually involves negotiations to save or salvage an order and make the client happy. I had to salvage an order going to Kuwait early this morning, any idea what it costs to send 1500 pounds of pumps and controls and have it there by October 16th?

Well at least my sissy chainsaw does not leak bar oil like all my other Husqvarna saws did.

My two Stihl's do that. I have cases for them and every time I open them up there is a bunch of bar oil leaked out all over. Drives me crazy.

Fairly certain all Stihl do that. Small price to pay to have a kick-ass saw though

Lay the saw down bar side down it won't leak. Stihls are good saws in their place. If I was in the hardwoods Stihl would be my choice, up north in the conifers there is no beating the speed of the Husquvarna.

I agree but for what I do I like the torque over speed

I cursed Stihls when they were late to the game with compression release, restarting a hot 044 sucked.

As I recall stihl recognized they had an issue with their fuel and oil caps leaking and offered switch outs. Now ours are all pretty old, which speaks to their quality, so I don’t know about newer ones.

Caps did not leak, Stihl was ahead of the game when they had the tabs on the oil and gas, easier to open with gloves on. The leak is at the seal in the bar oil tank and gear pump.

That I'm sure is so, though I clearly remember, now YEARS ago, going down to our sthil dealer to get free cap replacements on those line up press down and twist caps.. if you didn't line it up just so, the threads didn't seal then fuel and bar oil would leakout.

Interesting, never heard of it or had an issue the saws would sit in a compartment in an engine for months. We used to get new saws every other year, can't remember the specific year but there was a year were we turned down new saws because that years models had some issue.

I get to work this morning and there is a box on my desk, shipped to me by my dad. I open the box and it is full of seals, filters, fuses generator parts. I called my Dad and asked what I was supposed to do with the stuff. The parts are for the generator that he had on his Carver, he sold his big boat 7 years ago and thought I might want the parts. My biggest boat is 20' and has no generator on board. Love you Dad but just throw it away.
