The rant thread...

This has been a tough month. I can usually do a " bi-ch about such things , laugh and move on. Not so much today. First my Doc. office called to make sure the dermatologist contacted me. Actual I called them first. Now he's given me other referrals but NEVER called to make sure it was followed up on. Then when I told them they couldn't see me until Dec 11, I heard a concerned Oh. That was followed by did you asked to be put on a cancelation list? No. Please call them now and ask. Which they told me ,zero chance of using.
Then Scout the rescue Dalmatian, had a urine sample done. They called me right away with results. ALARMING crystal formation in his urine. Indication stones may be forming. This could be a death sentence. He has an appointment Wednesday. Oh when I took sample this morning, picked up meds for both dogs, 6 mo.supply, $380.00.
This month needs to be over

 

Did they forget about him out there?

 

Lol..he was a tough old sole. They did several drives trying to get him a shot . I still remember his stark white thick hair, 6'3" and always had a big bottle of sprite with him.

 

Just like fake tough guys are annoying, so are fake "tough guy" lesbians. Getting annoying seeing women walking around looking like men and puffing out their chest and widening their shoulders like they are some kind of badA. Combine that with a crappy facial expression and I just want them to feel the physical power of like a 14 yr old male. Lol. Like lady you are getting launched by 135lb male.

 

I should've taken a picture last week. Seemed somebody was quite confused...

 

Wife told me it would take a long time for me to burn this log up, I should cut it up and haul it away.

 

So, challenge accepted?

 

Burned without accelerant or leaf blower. She forgets sometimes what I am capable of with a chainsaw and a lighter. Even burned the stump into the ground. Saturday afternoon started ashes Sunday morning.

 

Why would she tempt a former smoke jumper?

 

She also suggested I have my son and son in law cut down a tree in the yard because it is too much for me. Pissed me off I was sick not dying. Also Brett I was not a jumper, they thought enough of me to land the helicopter and let me step out rather than jumping.

 

She knew nagging wouldn't help. Challenging his ego, would.

 

Nah I know her too well her look doesn't work anymore either. Plus this burning the log and clearing the brush project is my reclamation project, I am clearing and raking hand spreading top soil over gravel soil and planting grass. I am getting close so I pushed it.

 

So my damn saw quit working again, just quit. Put a new fuel filter in the tank, cleaned up the air filter and still no start, there is spark but it is weak. Looked at ordering the spark module 8-12 days to ship and over $100. Ordered a reconditioned saw for $300.

 

Same thing! Battling fires.

 

Former, that is the big word there is no way I would last a detail, physically I could gut thru it but you have to be fully invested mentally and there is so much BS and pussification I could not possibly buy in to be what I was when I did it. The wildfires are not getting bigger because of climate change they are getting bigger because men that can actually do the job are neutered by feelings and emotions of others.

 

That is the battle zone the dirt area was filled with brush, branches, and small trees, cleared that and used that to burn up the log. Wife told me to rediscover old hobbies, cutting and burning.

 

I went down and met new neighbor two "doors" down from property across street. Our son actually looked at place and went a different route. Why... well, I had no idea it had been condemned after owners passed. Her kid got it and........turned it into a meth lab! Caused a fire appearently melting the tub. Any who new owner,a woman my age bought it and brought Amish into gut and remodel. She plans on Retiring here and took me on a tour. Very nice job for what they had to work with. Seemingly very nice person.
Way out here and a meth lab next door. Mailman told me there was another 1/2mile down the road WTH!!!.

 

HR people, the latest one did not last long I think he knew what his future held. I have tried to stay out of HR stuff but based on complaints I am going have to be involved. What is with an HR person that thinks they are management or in a supervisors role? That will never happen again.
