Worked a fire once where there were a couple thousand rounds of ammo in a barn. Fire Dept had us push out a perimeter to keep people out. Kept hearing round after round blow up. I had my head down the entire time. Lol
In theory the ammunition going off should be about as harmless as firecrackers. The bullets shouldn’t go anywheres because they need to be in a chamber or some other confined place to build pressure. Yeah but was it locally sourced organic free range coddled hens served with local artisan toast and hand picked fair trade locally roasted coffee? I feel ya, I was drug into a biscuit shop the other day and spent $33 on a chicken biscuit served with frozen "hashbrown bites" and one cup of coffee. If I had a $1 for every time the used a trendy hipster catch-phrase like Locally Sourced, free range, fair trade, organic or whatever word they used to justify their obnoxious prices.. I could have made a farm payment. Oh and their biscuits couldn't hold a flame to my grandma's.
