I saw an obese bearded lady at fhe new employee orientation a few days ago. Everything screamed large lady except the beard. Did I mention I work at a med school that claims to be an institution of medical science. Literally, the words “medical sciences” are half of the official name.

A lot of violent storms this summer. 70mph winds came through here yesterday. Trees down. Power has been down since 4pm yesterday. Heat gonna inch up to relative mid 90s today.
My summer, 2 days at 91 the rest low to mid 80's. Today through next week, low/mid 70's and low to mid 50's at night. This is the summer of my childhood.

We are thoroughly enjoying it! First summer in years sleeping in no air conditioning has been a pleasure. Hubby has a thing about air conditioning ,home and cars....don't ask....lol.
Moving. We hired a company to pack up our house and move 3 hours west. These fools...I don't even know where to begin. They left all kinds of stuff in the house, like rugs, power strips, missed 6 cabinets in the laundry room, had the truck doors shut and were out on the porch smoking and on their phones. Then acted surprised when we pointed out the concept of all this stuff has to go part of moving. Get here 2 hours before them to hit an epic storm. Trees down everywhere, no power to our rental, stayed the night with fiancees parents. Now I'm sitting here at the storage facility and the all star moving crew is an hour late. Made some vague excuse when I called. I'm about to come Un fed at the reel.

Yeah took em 6 hours for a 3 hour trip from greensboro to Hendersonville. Apparently they had to drop off one of the crew and get weighed. Called this morning at 7 am then didn't show up for an hour, called saying the big truck broke down. They just got to the storage facility. It's going swimmingly
Smh. Unrelated, deer/bear archery seasons overlap up that way Oct 16-Nov 20...I may do a weekend camping trip one weekend...

Have all my meat in the deep freezer and packed with ice. Just took a cold shower. Add two dogs, one being a puppy, and this a S sandwich. LOL
