I have found a great way to relieve stress at work. Every week I get about 15-20 pink message slips from people offering to sell the busines services or products. I usually pick on freight brokers, method sellers when I say I we are happy with our broker, then they kick into method seller mode, I hate method sellers. I explain why nobody calls them back and say good bye oh and do not call again.

So many coyotes to kill but they won't come to a call. They are killing deer at will here. I miss these days when deep snow wasn't a factor getting around.
Had a guy from the same company call me this morning, I was very blunt with him, did not get personal, raked him over the coals pretty good. I hung up the phone and the receptionist was outside my office she was smiling ear to ear, she asked me if she could come listen when I get calls like that. I told her I am always nice until it is time to not be nice.
It is going to be in the 60's and 70's next week, even after that I will still have a large drift in my front yard. From my patio to the lake not counting the drift the snow is 3' deep. If it snows again I am going to stay home and drink and shoot at empty beer cans.
Walked into the rest room at work a few minutes ago, smelled like something died in there. Turned around and went down one floor, no way I breathing that, might be contagious.

Nov 5th will be our 35-year wedding anniversary. We are getting older and the kids are gone making their own lives. Things should be cheaper and easier now. Wrong!! Wife says she wants a new refrigerator. I said the old one is still working so NO. We go get her a new fridge. We are looking at fridges. I like the 24.7 cubic foot one that will go through my three 32" doors to get to the kitchen without ripping anything apart. She likes the 28.4 cubic foot one. I say there are only two of us now so we are getting the smaller one. We buy the big one. I had to take the doors off the fridge and center door trims off. The thing was a heavy beast!! While we were getting the fridge, she said, she also wanted a portable dish washer. I grab her hands and look at them in the store. I look her in the eyes and ask her if her hands are broke. She says no. I smile and say then we don't need a dishwasher, we already have one. Apparently that is another wrong answer in all my years of many wrong answers?!?! We bought a dishwasher. Now I have to replace the kitchen faucet today because the threads are wrong for the dishwasher hookup. Another perfectly functioning thing getting replaced. Happy Easter to me!!!
I may have to ask you for her number for advice , she is doing some way better than me. I got the new dishwasher 10 years ago along with a venting micro,a stove and frig. BTW one always needs a bigger frig we have two. The dish washer is in place but never hooked up. He'll do it just before we sell or he'll kick the bucket and I'll hire it done. The old counter micro finally died as well as the stove vent hood. Mind you we have a new combo...he went out and bought another counter top micro and a new hood vent. I stopped wondering what goes on in that brain many years ago.
