Was up camp fishing with BIL and some buddies, had great weather sat am 7-2pm then all hell broke loose. Went back to camp, no sooner we got into camp a tree fell down and took power out and partially blocked camp entrance and another fell on my buddies truck. Some how no windows blew out and his truck was drivable. The tree was an old hollowed out pine that was to be removed on Monday. We packed everything up and headed back home. Weekend was cut short, have to get an electrician up there to put new service into camp bc it got ripped off when the tree fell. What a mess, at least no one was hurt!
So had vehicle loaded with my bags and my Dad's too, both my dad and I texted and called the nephew, no response. I was headed up to kick the door when he came out of the elevator. I told my Dad get in told the da to load his bag and get in, he said I didn't get breakfast, I said that what was the time from 7am till now was for, we actually left at 7:25.
If I ever have to drive him again (only because everyone else refuses) it is on my terms. Only me with him no other passengers, I drive 100%.
Tuesday evening through Wednesday night sounds just great. 6-10 inches of snow with the winds gusting to 60 mph. Boss said plan on having Wednesday off. Winter just won't give up.

Speaking of internet problems, when we lived out in the Cariboo, we had a provider (I use that term loosely) called Xplornet, and we had nothing but trouble with them. The worst was when we were having trouble keeping any wifi going, and I wrote them to get someone to look into it. We had a phone but it was an internet phone and also ran on Xplornet. I could barely send an email. They finally wrote back after some days and asked for our phone number. I told them it wasn't working. The hub was malfunctioning or something I don't remember anymore. They wrote back and said, "Oh that's too bad, send us your phone number and we'll get someone to contact you." I then reiterated that we didn't have a phone, and they repeated themselves again. Do you know, it took something like 20 emails back and forth until they finally got it through their heads? "Oh, no phone, I see..." I couldn't tell you how frustrated I was. The worst thing was they kept pushing me from one operator to another and I would have to repeat myself over and over again. Customer service is a thing of the past gentlemen. No longer is the customer right and all that. Now it's speed and how much money you can make in a day to keep your business afloat. I get it. It's the way society is going now, but it still sucks.
Hard to believe sitting in a preheated petri dish stewing in your own chowder is going to give you a rash. At least you didn't piss in a beer bottle then take a swig

I have a die hard bud light drinking buddy that is stopping bc of it. He sent in a group message he is a free agent and taking offers haha. I drink Ic light and my other buddy is Keystone Light. I would like to see how much they end up losing on sales, what a crap marketing decision.
I don't drink beer but I will double check subsidiaries because they probably are already on a growing list of what I won't buy. GD, coke took out a very wide swath of things alone. The Joy's of being keto , Not much processed I buy any more except for hubby's wants. He no longer drinks anything but occasional small glass of wine.
