It was a notice they said he has a brain tumor that came out Febuary 22 as I recall then gave his entire biography. It had popped up on a you tube feed

search clint eastwood death. You will find that he has dies at least 3 times. Twice already on boobtube, May 2021 and Sept 2022

    He is alive and kicking

Work rant. I setup a meeting with a couple key folks. One replies 'can we move this meeting?'

Here, let me show you this neat feature that had been around about 20 years where you can actually suggest an alternate date/time that works for your schedule.

This will now be a full month after I raised the underlying need and now scheduling the meeting. I also believe it will be rescheduled at least 2 more times.

"First annual..." it's wrong, it can't be annual until it happens the second year...the word choice should be "Inaugural"

Yesterday was a Monday, sure felt like it. I put out a million little fires yesterday. Some days I would like to move to a town house and have a simple job with no responsibilities.

Yep must have been that type of day...hubby came home....shop floor rejected after sub installed it 3 weeks ago. Not smooth enough hard to clean...wait until some kid hits a grease spill and opens his head or is taken out by fine metal shavings on the polished smooth shop floor the janitors find easier to clean. Tax payers $$$$$ all the way around..

Son comes over let's us know that grandson sat in a bomb shelter for 21/2hrs at school and all communication was electronically blocked to prevent a remote detonation. Also a kid brought a 12 ga. to school a couple of weeks ago they tried to hush up. Mind you we are way out in the boondocks 30+ miles from any city or medium city

Parents of child athletes that bitçh. Here is a few points parents should be forced to know before they are allowed at events or to complain.
Coaching is more often than not volunteer.
You must truly understand the game and it's rules before you cry about play time.
Not every kid is a superstar.
Winning is not important but it sure does help keep the lights on for the program.
If I (coach) wants your opinion we will ask.
Coaches put in countless hrs that no one sees so that your snowflake can look good.
If you think it's a long day in the stands try wrangling cats for that duration and being responsible for everything that happens that's bad, while being expected to credit the victory to the players.

It's gonna be a rough couple weeks/months for financial services...on the up side, I'm not working in/with risk & regulatory.

On the down side, these will be some of the most critical areas in the short term and pretty much any other department may be expendable.

Why does getting a new work computer have to be so difficult... Received a new one yesterday because mine was 6 years old and had a bulging/bad battery. The new one is 3" smaller and does not work with any of my work from home components. Need to order a new docking station and monitor now.

Can't wait until I get to deal with trying to get all of my files/content from my old one to this new one. And then getting all of my saved bookmarks/saved passwords.

Jake your tech department should have done all that conversion for you up front before you even powered on. Quick email to the IT manager prolly make things better! Just saying!!!!

Exactly this. I ordered my new computer to specs that were compatible with my existing setup. Plug and play.
