2-4" my ass. I bet we got close to 7-8" here in Foley. Heading to the best things in life thread to praise my helpful neighbors for helping snow blow. I was about halfway done each time today and someone saw me shoveling and came on over with their blowers. After this winter I'm investing in one.
Yeah now the wind. My wall facing the lake can't see ice glazed. What is with the rain this winter? The freeway exits are all icy as heck, snow blowing over the pavement on the interstate too. With the wind blowing the road to the freeway will be snow covered and icy. The older I get the more I curse the wind.

I'll admit to cursing the winter winds on this WNW facing hill since we moved here in my 30's I couldn't stand it any longer and we have 6-7inches of snow due tomorrow , cleaned drive yesterday. Water logged snow...that was fun this morning, getting out of bed and trying to lift my coffee cup...lol

I have had a stainless wire like a retainer on the back side of my lower front teeth, has been there since I got my braces off when I was 18. Well last week on one side the wire came out of the epoxy. I made a dentist appointment to get it removed. This morning I was eating my meat stick with my cheese stick and I thought something felt weird. Yeah I swallowed a 2" piece of stainless steel wire. Cancel the dentist.
I'd call your Dr and ask what to look for should it become lodged in your intestinal track or stomach lining.
Yep they wanted me to come in I said I would call back in 10 minutes, went outside puked and the wire came out.
I really want to dislike the content, yeah it sucks and all that snows blows around alot. Driving on roads going thru open farm fields just sucks. Like I said the ice will not be off till May.
No house phone no internet in house= no TV. I call company ticked because as you know we just went through this a bit ago. They won't send anyone until...next Thursday. We have a friend that's been waiting a month. So my Bad. I had a FEDX delivery. I stepped out on porch just as I see the back of his big truck driving away from me down drive. Didn't think anything of it until working I look out the window to see, our telephone line snaked all over front yard. He had pulled in to drive and was too lazy to back out so did a 3 point turn in the yard. The truck not only left the dbl axle tracks in the yard and wet drive but hooked the telephone line. He drove off stretching it until it snapped. So had to go through a call to FedX as well. Still waiting a call back. I explained I'd gone out and taken lots of pics of tire tracks, line on ground and that was the only delivery made. I wasn't paying for the new line or any box repairs. They are.
Have I complained about the pollen yet this week? The berry and brambles are leafing out. Maples have the little helicopters set, azaleas blooming...
Got the call back. Claims its third party deal, yet truck had Fedx written across back. They requested the pics and I sent then confirmed receipt. Now we'll see. Have to call phone company Monday. Seeing they manged wrong address and then said they fixed the issue...really?!
Falls Ballroom is not doing their friday night fish fry during lent, dang it was a 3 year family tradition.
d@mned horse!! Today was going to be a day of rest. I am on her last small alfalfa bale. Stopped in to tell the boss. Boss says good, I need to get a bunch of alfalfa bales for an upcoming horse sale since they are talking up to 14 inches of snow later in the week. The bales are stored out in the middle of nowhere and the road to it sucks to start with. 14 inches will have it blocked!! If that 20 something year old horse wasn't so adorably onery and a fun pain in the @ss which kind of reminds me of my mom who I inherited it from... I would be bitter. Get a horse they say. It will be fun. My sisters and brother are missing out on so much!! I keep telling them it is their turn to keep her. They keep saying no and laugh.
You enjoy that I did my time, if I just got back an 1/8th of what I have spent on horses I would be a fat cat.
