I got up and had every intention of getting to work, I started driving and got a half mile and thought WTF am I doing, got to town and the state hwy was not plowed turned around and went home, there was no getting thru, made the call shut down the business cost us thousands but what do you do. I could have risked it and perhaps made it and charged PTO for anybody that did not show but I am not like that.

Stupid me left gas in my generator too long without fuel stabilizer or running the thing. I knew it wasn't running a year ago and didn't do anything about it. Yesterday's ice storm knocked power out all over the place and we may be down for a couple of days. Pulled the gennie out this morning, pulled the carb, cleaned it, put fresh gas in it, and she still won't run. Ordered a $35 replacement carb from Amazon that I will have tomorrow. This is what I get for being lazy.

About half our day shift made it in. We had about 13" overnight. Still snowing...

Went in this morning feeling really bad. I had parts that had to be packed today sbd a customer meeting at 7:30.

Got done with that and told the boss i was going home. Didnt see the plant manager come up behind me. Was told to see the company nurse for a covid test. She didnt make it in.

Took a home test....negative. But i know the nazi (nurse) will tell me i cant come back to work until wednesday

OK I've been quiet on this and can no longer do so..this may be a bit of a blow up
WTF is wrong with people that allow their cats to walk all over their kitchen counters and tables! Where have you stuck your common sense or even eeewwwww factor?
Let me just remind you incase you forgot...EVERY SINGLE DAY they walk and paw through their own crap and pizz!!! Then deposit that all over your food prep. areas. People on you tube, they actually know thousands are watching this. I have to say I have actually said no to dinner at peoples homes that own inside cats.

Have not had a cat since Shart disappeared and not in the house since my daughter went to college, even then we had dogs to keep them in order.

Who knows, I do know our older dogs would hate having a high energy puppy around.

I will still but my wife has a way. Son and I were away on a weekend trip he said he wanted his own dog, I agreed. We came home to another small dog that the wife "rescused"

Yet another crap commute, drove on unplowed roads to the freeway and then once on the freeway it starting raining on the snow covered road. Drive home will be fun too.
