every time I look out back, I hear Molson bark at me, 10 to 15 running around, only shoot them when they get into bird feeders. Molson has been gone for 3yrs, she loved chasing them
Fwiw Guardia has been a growing problem in our area with some hunters' dogs. Some even losing their dogs of not treated. You didn't say if it was a working dog or house pet. Hope its past...
House pet. We bought a cheap raw hide different than the one he usually has and that’s what I think tire him up. Little bastard eats anything he can fund outside.
Carpet tack strips. First who created this demon spawn? Why do installers insist on using 43 freaking nails to secure them?
I am going to curse the sky this week, might have to consider staying in the cities Tuesday-Thursday. Winter sucks.
People are a holes. Sitting on the couch watching people head out on the lake to fish. 2 clowns who are much more important than anyone else parked their vehicles right at the landing unloaded their gear and headed out on the lake. There is a parking lot just up the hill you jerks.
I have removed a lot of the carpet in this house. So far out of all the things, removing tack strips is the bloodiest job. Back in the day, it must have been mandatory to use nails that are 3 inches or longer to secure tack strips to hardwood floors. By the time you have gotten the tack strip removed, it is busted in a hundred different little pieces. It is a given you will kneel on one of those pieces and blood will be shed.
All that does suck. Assembling crappy Walmart furniture products sucks the worst. Son bought the wife a tv entertainment center/fake fireplace because she always wanted one. If it wasn't such a nice jester and the wife was happy about it, I would have disowned him. 43 cam locks, 44 wood dowels and 3 hours of my life lost. Then the wife wanted to save the old tv entertainment center but cut the middle out and butt the two ends together because she could store stuff and display her knick-knacks. Another 4 hours of my life gone. I had to rip it all apart to do it. Now she is trying to find a place to put it. There is no place to put it, but she is happy.
Who still uses nails? Staples every 2 inches is what I pulled up. Nails would have been SOOO much easier
Get your azz to work on time I drove 83 miles 15 of it on unplowed roads took an hour and 45 minutes, but still unlocked the doors at 6:30.
Anyone found guilty of using covid relief business funds for personal use need to be in federal prison. I don't care if it's for a month.
You know who profits most from government give aways. DUH it's the ones voting to give away everytime!
Shoveling your entire sidewalk/driveway that's covered in 5" of wet heavy/slushy snow. Might need to invest in a snow blower yet this year.
Pet peeve of mine too. Had to drive almost 50 miles to the first pickup. Gave myself an hour and a half, just to be sure. Stopped for gas and still 10 minutes early. The first 5 miles were awful. Even when I got to the highway, it hadn't been plowed. The further north I went, it got worse. Saw the first snowplow near the Stacy exit. It was in the ditch. Not kidding. It was sloppy, wasn't it? To be honest, unless you buy a beast, it won't move this stuff. I didn't bother. Just took my time, stopped for swigs of beer....I'll feel this in the morning. Lol.
Looks like that is headed our way tonight. We battered down the hatches covered vehicles, got shopping and gas fill ups done. I shoveled the 300ft drive and turn around twice this week. So it is down to gravel. We are running exactly 5 degrees colder than areas forecast. Hoping that has us avold the freezing rain. We are the only area with snow as of today. Tractor heater is plugged in and the tractor is covered . Though the real "Dump" is looking to be two days before Christmas. Every one stay safe
