Month or so ago 2 guys on 94 had issues with each other. Guy shot th other guys car two times. You don't provoke idiots.
Active shooter in a St Louis school today. This is heartbreaking to read. The fear these kids and adults must have felt. Hard not to be emotional. "David Williams, a math teacher at the school, said the school principal came over the loudspeaker around 9 a.m. and said the code phrase that indicates a school shooter in the building."
Naw. He accounts for maybe 6%, with me probably being the other 4%. Sota always says he doesn't suffer a fool, I very much understand that every time I drive somewhere.

Sitting here trying to recruit previous coworkers to come work for me and them agreeing, but not knowing if my boss will let me bring them back. They'll work for me, but could not work for the supervisor 2 supervisors before me. I need years of experience on the floor. Last post for me about this, not going to turn this into my personal diary

Walking down Phoenix with beer and fighting off homeless people is not on my bucket list of things I want to do !! Not even sure I would try that in Fargo. You would get mugged, stabbed or shot. Fargo is getting terrible. Can only imagine how bad Phoenix is.
Work - Is it too much nowadays to expect people to think about consequences of decisions/actions?! And RegEx (IYKYK)...
I'll update periodically probably, new venture in life and all, but like I said I won't make this thread or any a personal diary That said, I have 2 on board to come back. Caveats to both though. One left on somewhat bad terms and tried to come back and they said no. I was not aware of that aspect of it and it may be a decision that was made greater than mine. The other left on good terms but felt he was held down having to help new people too much and his own performancs lacked as a result. I agree with that as it is fact. That will not be a problem under my organization. The holdback on him is he makes a high hourly wage but lacks benefits, if he were to come back it would most certainly be a lower hourly wage but a lot better benefits. I'll find out this coming week on just how much decision making I will have vs how much micromanaging I'll have to deal with.

Doing other peoples crappy jobs while they're on vacation. And not the cool part. The part they went on vacation to escape in the first place.
I especially love it when they tell you something like ‘just follow these steps, it’s all written out’…to then learn it’s not accurate or complete…
