OND, you ever think of just some ladderstands..
The work/time into your blinds seems to be a huge burden..?

I have 40 other stands. Rivers blind was built the year River was born, he Is 7 now. So I can't complain to much seeing it was an experimental painted cardboard blind.. the upper walls are still fine so replacing the bottom walls it's too big a deal. Just raccoons are dirt nasty animals. .Having dry wind free place to hunt with the grandsons at an early age is worth the time. Also I actually love building things.. my first cardboard blind from 13 yrs ago is still going strong ...had a bit of a mouse issue but fixed than with hardware clothe. .
The other thing about the blinds...trespassers can not see whether I'm in them or not. It's amazing how much it's cut down on "problems"

Well a DA trucker finally collected my truck last night, sideswiped me on 94 took my mirror off and a nice tire mark down the side of the cab, dang near shoved me into the cement barrier to damage the other side. Like I needed that at the end of a long week.

I’d bet it was in one of those construction zones where they try to squeeze 4 lanes of rush hour traffic into a two lane roadway. Did he stop or just keep going. Hope you’re OK.

Power outages,2sec. to a minute or two ...many many times
I call to report, no one else reported. I had to explain human nature, if it is not a long outage no one will call.
Did you call your neighbours and check your breakers? Do you understand your home electric ? I ask, because if a breaker had tripped my power would not have come back on unless I reset the breaker. Then I got the if we find nothing and it's on your property we will be changing you. Long / short...I stopped being pleasant
So called hubby to contact neighbour. He finally through a phone chain of calling their son finally got a number they would answer. In the mean time the son that lives 3 miles away mentioned issues as well that started after the big storm that blew over a bunch of our trees a week or so ago. Neighbour has been having outages. I had to call back and inform NYSEG of all this.
The actual ranting is having to wait 10 mins each call to get a human. Then having to spend my time proving an issue to get them to actually come out.

My Dad is back in Minnesota. I will not run a big box store saw. I have a 20" bar and 6 chains, and the chains are not the big box store safety chain BS. Always wanted to cut up a palm tree with my chainsaw. Plus the difference between a home owner saw and a commercial grade saw is remarkable would cut my actual cutting in time in half.

So the damn lawyer finally called the executor today. Told him to go ahead and write the checks and mail them directly to us and he would mail the closing of the estate documents separately from his office. So hopefully have it by the weekend.

Just ready to get these cards paid off before 0% expires.

Eff covid, eff water line bursts and eff lawyers you didn't hire.

You know social media is not always bad, it can expose idiots and the stupid things people do then post it up on social media to show their accomplishments. Have you seen the story about the woman who thought she shot a young wolf? She put pictures of the animal and of the cape. Problem is she proudly shot a husky.

Don't need social media for that...step mother owned a country dinner I had to work in. Morning hunt breakfast guy drives in with...yes it isn't just and urban legend...someone's goat strapped to his trunk. Not one person said anything until he left, then the dinning room erupted... Man people talked about it for months
The things that flew under the radar before cell phones, amazing

Better news this morning with the hurricane track, place in Florida will not take a direct hit. I do feel bad about feeling good about not taking a direct hit because that means somebody else will.
