7th pitch count was around 110. He was pitching against the Royals.

That is a lot of pitches but late in the year with playoff hopes pretty dim....let him pitch.

I withdrew my application tonight. Was supposed to go in at 9am tomorrow for fingerprinting. Got on my application portal tonight and no clue how I missed it but found an employment summary for the position I applied for. I'd have to take a $6 pay cut and no way I could do that.

I applied for the wrong position unknowingly.

I did have the option to open my online file for other positions and can be contacted for a job I didn't apply for. So it's not over yet.

ICE T saying the streets of LA are not safe because of gangs and crime. Didn't he make a fortune rapping about that culture like he knew, and now he is afraid of what he glorified and he sees himself as a spokesperson, some people just do not know when to shut up.

Traveling with my Dad this morning he wanted me to pick him up at 9:45, I arrived at 9:36 was ringing him to buzz me in when he stepped off the elevator, just in time 9 minutes early. We dealt with light traffic got to the airport like my Dad likes it thru security over 2 hours before the flight. Going to be a long week.

Got up at 5:30 thought I would go for a walk, went out the garage door, I did not unlock the entrance door. 1 good thing when the sun came up I got 3 dead shrubs dug out and all the yard debris cleaned up before 7:30. My dad did not wake up till 8:30.

I think my fate is sealed. Hindsight, it's for the best really. My time to switch careers has expired, switching employers is still possible but I know I'm not going to "improve" my current status so put in another 5 and hope I'm where I want to be when it comes.

I'm not unhappy where I am, especially with another raise and should get another at my next review in a few months. I just don't know how much damage I will do to myself physically over that time, going to be an old man doing a young mans job

In the words of Randy Newberg, "You will run out of health before you run out of wealth." Any chance a supervisor position with less hands on work is available to you?

    Lawyers!!!

Fricking lawyer has had all the paperwork and funds for the final disbursements from my grandparents estate. Per the will they were to be sent out every year on May 29th. It's Sep. 21st and he will not return calls or emails from us or the will's executor. He's 70 miles away so not an easy just drop bye and see if he's in.

    Ridiculous.....

Trusts are so much easier, and the estate is protected, of course hindsight is 20/20

I actually have to sit on the fence with this. As a older woman let me tell you...no one including me wants to see me without either some foundation on, mask or camo paint stick...
That said a younger woman should have enough confidence to be themselves and just look healthy and happy, red nose , cheeks and all.

My wife has a friend with a rich husband that hunts all over, she is vain as hell with fake everything, she shoots a deer that a guide sets up, she pulls the string and while it is being tracked and gutted she is getting done up for the pictures, then posts I am a huntress.

    Wasn't my choice

I have to dig out the original papers I received to find out what judge was initially involved. Not sure how exactly to contact a judge though or if he could even due anything.

Time to engage yet another attorney and have that person send out a demand letter. After that, a complaint to the first lawyers state bar association.

Both our kids have switch careers in the last few years Daughter left higher Ed. Making well into 6 figures, Went back down to high 5 figures in banking. Then offered a job in another whole new career and is back well into 6 figures again.
Son switched from foreman in school construction to heavy and highway..better hourly, company truck with gas card and union. They take after both of us in if your not happy quit...hubby stayed in construction but left several companies, some with my pushing because he was so miserable...I have done so many different things over the years. I quit many a job and had two business 's.. only one I cried for months because I had to leave due to pay not being enough and union prevented management from changing that. Cheaper for me to stay home then accidents kept me home...
Life hard enough without spending 5-6 days a week being unhappy..

Checking stands and blinds before season due to recent storms...I won't even discuss trail debris. Rivers blind is all tore up, not storm, raccoons chewed through not only deck front wall but they ripped off half the back wall.
Back wall cleaned up and replaced with wood. The front will get patched for this season the door needs recovering due to the pounding rains, inside is just disgusting. It will take N94 mask and good rubber gloves to clean hot water and bleach or pinesol.
    Nasty @&(/# %;! Raccoons!
