Yes yes we did. They had to close the Dollar general in village....all the big Norway's blew down across entrance to parking lot and all in the parking lot....
I have downed trees In one of the beans plots and to be honest...sort of afraid to go lookon rest of property. I listened to decorations Wallingford today while walking back from the mail box. That storm weakened a whole lot of trees. Power company has been up and down our hill several times today...driving A.J. crazy with the, slowing down as they crest the hill.

I love and respect my parents I appreciate all they have given me. I will also say the person I am as a husband, as a parent, and as an individual is much different than my parents. I would die before I would ask or demand that people do things for me, I am not even comfortable with drivers taking my luggage out of the trunk. I will not argue about petty things with my spouse and I do not make emotional demands from my kids. I love my Dad but he is privileged and demanding.

So back in early August I mentioned that I had a barium swallow test and that the test revealed a "pouch" in my neck. From what I have found, it is somewhat rare.

I've been referred to a teaching hospital and they got right back to me. Took all my information and said they would set up an appointment once they had the actual esophagram to review.

It's been a couple weeks and they have called once to tell me they have not yet received it. I have talked to the staff at my ENT's office. They say they will send it....doesn't happen.

Today, I go online through their "My Chart" app and request that they send the scan. I get the response that the hospital can see the results of the scan at xxxxx.

I figure I now have the root of the problem. The hospital can see the report but not the scan.

Who in their right F ing mind makes a referral without sending ALL the available information?!?!

I most certainly do not want to repeat the barium swallow. That stuff sucks! Nor do I want to pay for a second test. I DO want to move this process forward as I have stuff planned for Sept, Oct, Nov. Ya know, like bow hunting.

Even if you are feeling better do not throw a tennis ball for a dog a week after you break ribs. Two drops of pee came out and the damn dog didn't even go get the ball.

I have a great big giant WTF!...with all the days after storm the noise yesterday made me go out to check behind the house and check on a blind.

Guys don't call me a mother hen, just listen..AFTER A STORM, PLEASE DO NOT BLINDLY TRUST THE TREES YOU CLIMB. I did a quick check a couple of days ago. Nothing down near the blind. Today I have 3 down around the blind...good thing, missed it. 2 big fully leafed maple and one dead one across trail to blind. My phone was dead so no pics yet but will post some later. We have only had a normal breeze since the storm yet these trees snapped off.
I went down the hill and was stopped buy a few more big maples down across the trail, I and deer use. I believe those were at time of storm, not after.
Just be careful out there this season. Avoid trees with tight trunk splits its a weaks spot water can collect or any bug damage...a bunch of round holes around the trunks...not only sap suckers do this but thorax wasps do as well.
    Be safe

Pics...note I'm showing the climbing trunk. These were big trees 10 yrs ago I would not have thought twice about climbing. Good timber trees. They sapped off well above a climb. Also pic if one of the bear by dead ash unscathed. No leaf cover for the wind to catch and weaken tree.

SOB became president of a company today and power of attorney of the family estate. My dad fell this morning and while he will be OK he called me and told me it's on you. Thanks Dad no pressure. Last thing I wanted, but on the other hand I am the most likely to not f over siblings to line my pockets.

DAMN! That's getting too close to home! :bigcry:
Went to Buffalo Wild Wings here in Horseheads last Friday and the bill came to $80 for 3 people (and that was with drinks). At the price you paid for your wings, our bill would have been well over $100. FJB
