Good luck with it, they have really one a long way medically with such things. BTW I was 9 yrs old when I had to drink that after throwing up blood and landing in the hospital for a week. Back then that vendor cup was a full big restaurant milk shake cup. I was the youngest person the hospitalised ever given an upper GI scan. What it was is pneumonia and an undersized esophagus. Throwing up is a serious issue for me.
From what I have been able to find is that it is relatively rare. That is why I am pessimistic about which procedure they will do. The endoscopic laser sounds like a better option but size and location would determine what they do. While I was down the rabbit hole. I did find something interesting. In the few documented cases, many patients were found to either be lifelong wood wind instrument players or chronic coughers. I might be looking at a version of the proverbial chicken and egg deal.
Now this is the rant because I don't think we have a BAD DOG! Thread A. J.'s walk before I had to leave the house for a bit. I took my phone in case I wanted pics. Well the one coffee in ,five out, kicked in a 1/4 mile from house. I had to duck behind a big rock pile on edge of lower plot. I set my phone down off from my side. B A M! A.J runs by snatching phone at mid stream, unable to stop him. Well green case and there he is in the over grown grasses in the corn plot.....no phone in mouth. Here is where being lazy tech. dependency kicks in. I have zero idea what anyones phone number is to call for help. I finally found a recent # in my paper address book and called to get hubby 's #. I call him as a,storms about on us and we time a call to my phone to find it. That worked bad A. J. Bad dog!. Before this when we first got him, he snatched my keys out of my pocket...To this day I have zero idea how I found them, other than years of deer tracking..lol
Why on earth do parents put their kid in more than one sport or school activity at a time? You are not teaching that kid the valuable life lessons of commitment, preparation and hard work. You are teaching that kid that the purpose of life is to be so busy that you run around like a chicken with your head cut off, adding unnecessary stress, and just flat out robbing the child of the opportunity to be a kid. Just got an email from the mom of kid on the flag football team I am coaching, he can't commit to our team because made his school's tackle team. Good for the kid, but, why even put him in that situation? I do not want a half committed kid that already missed the first practice. Neither does the school coach. Idiot parents, quit living vicariously through your kids.
Wife and I had the first argument about it today. There is a sitting area in the loft there are 3 chairs and a table, my wife solution was to sell that furniture so our living room furniture can go up there so the inlaws reclincerns fit in the living room. Her logic was after they leave we would put beds in that space for when guests come up because nobody ever sits up there. I said I do not care we are not selling furniture and converting the loft for more guests, I also said the solution is not to have a dozen f'ing guests at a time. This is going to suck and there will be times there is frustration, I am dealing with her parents **** she can deal with my frustration.
Listening to my mother in law on speaker phone with my wife drives me mad, we are going to need our furniture, we are going to need our dishes, going to need to have it this way, and I will have zero privacy in my home. My job is demanding and stressful going home getting to the lake is therapy for me, now it is going to be a place I dread going home to.
Sounds like you are living my nightmare. I dread the day my MIL says we have to take her in. No thanks, I have kids to raise and you have enough money for a good retirement/assisted living facility. Fortunately, my wife is on the same page with me, for now. Hopefully, that will not change when the ask actually comes.
Thing is they got evicted because of my insane sister in law ranting to the land lord, she is mentally unstable. I moved up here to get away from all that.
Big crash on 94 yesterday 1 killed couple critically injured exact same thing I narrowly avoided last week.
I'm surprised at an eviction...with your MIL being diagnosed with the nasty A. I would think she could claim a disability and fought an eviction under the disability act.
One of the many reasons this country boy PCSed out of the Air Force back to gods country. Screw urban life

Put the spare on my wife's car last night due to slow leak from a screw I found in it. She calls me from work this morning to tell me that the spare is leaking as well. Fortunately, there is a gas station a couple hundred yards down the street she can air up at and make it the 1.5 miles to the Firestone that I able to get a 3pm appointment for her.
