It's not jusr batteries, quite a few cars that you have to do similar to change headlight bulbs.

A big reason I left the auto repair industry, have to be a damn a contortionist to do anything anymore and even the simplest of repairs takes a thousand dollar machine to tell you the vehicle is in limp mode because a solenoid for the windshield wipers has faulted.....

I remember the simple times if your car was running rough you simply went out on a dark night and popped the hood with it running. Could see blue sparks everywhere as the spark plug wires were arcing on the engine block/exhaust manifolds and $18 at the local auto parts store for new wires, $15 cap and rotor, $8 for a set of plugs and a timing light had you running smooth for another few years.

I drive a 22 year old Jeep because if the CEL comes on it is an actual problem and not a temperamental computer, all routine maintenance and most repairs short of a complete rebuild, I can do myself.

    Hey
Just as you gave your opinion, I gave mine.
We'll both have to deal with it and move on

I am so freaking done touching anything with a motor this week.
    1. Tractor would not gear engage...OK finally figured out the A,B,C in neutral. Something hubby and I never do. He did though. It worked well.
    2. Got in Gator both front tires are intermittent locking up in forward ,not reverse...can't use it and really need to do the fall plots.
    3. Get in car to go get pickling supplies and my doe tags for Sept hunt...get to town and check.engine light comes on and won't go off
    4. Turn TV on to check news when I get back and there is a purple streak across the screen
My God ! I'm not touching another thing with a motor this week. I can see some blue fog when hubby gets home.....

Been there... done that. AND after doing that I went got rid of that vehicle (Chrysler Sebring) a couple of days later. First thing I did while looking for a new vehicles was to check where the **** battery was located!

Quizno's did the same thing, pissed me off as well. Went to pay and they said I would have to answer the question before entering cars. It's like they try to guilt you into a tip because they are standing there watching you push no tip. No guilt for me

Do you really feel your time is so valuable that you need to rant about being inconvenienced by an elderly woman taking five minutes to write a check?

Also, you need to use language that doesn’t activate the profanity filter.

Been working my ass off trying to finish this project for a 90 year old women in a wheelchair.
Now she's in the ER and not doing well at all.

I pray she makes it it as she wanted this SO badly.

That's a .great thing and looks good. I Also hope she recovers fast and in good shape. Now extend that to strangers as well you may feel just as good about your self.
I spent a total time of 42minutes standing in check out ,just tissue to people with problems. One a young woman with two kids and the wrong card.OMG trying to help her calm the two year old down that was holding a toy she was going to buy. She had to leave cart to side to go get the correct card. Then go to another store and an older woman did the same thing! though we waited for her to go get the other card in her car. . We joked and told stories and laughed about life during both times to calm.people...Some times life is a giant ****e show all at once . There is a time to be Dang thankful the show is not featuring you/us.
Was life line for the elderly in our neighbour hood ,both Avon and here. I was asked and said yes. Having to get up and dress at 1-3 a.m. due to forgetfulness or issues was not fun but one day I may need help . These people's families weren't there or did not care. One night I had to break in and when I checked on them in their bed I folded down cover to find a ballpean hammer in their hand WTH!. They were breathing and OK but forgot to put out the hidey key and set their life alert.
