Along with knocking it down before it's fully set and/or using a damp sponge to feather the edge. Better yet, PLASTER over it.
Yeah wife and I decided that the dog friendly policy will not stand. Son's friends have a st Bernard, the other a golden. Nope done dealing with other peoples dog hair.
klondike kills the choco taco. https://www.cbsnews.com/boston/news/choco-taco-discontinued-klondike/ Not that I care a lot, but I do have find memories of one of the more decadent shakes/frappes topped with one of these...the place also had great burgers...
Move here and within a week it sets a daily rainfall record. Flooding like crazy. Most rain in 107 years. Driving around and a bunch of the older businesses are ruined. Water all up into these wood structures and old restaurants in this neighborhood. Feel terrible for them.
Pushing a self propelled mower when the drive for the wheels is shot. I cut the belt out but taking apart and replacing the rear axel is going to suck.
I forgot a rant about last weekend, one of my son's friends tried to give me $20 for gas for the boat. I declined and said talk to my son. $20 worth of boat gas will run the pig at full throttle for about 40 minutes. They burned 60 gallons of gas Thursday- Sunday. Just in the ski boat, they use the pontoon as the cooler and staging platform, but that motor is a 4 stroke honda 60 hp pretty easy on gas.
Sales staff, do not fret about quotes turn it into a sale then I will work out the details. I had to remind staff that we do not deposit quotes in the bank.
In my mind, quotes seem to mainly serve two purposes - competition or a buyers internal purchasing/approval processes. Less commonly, its a buyers budgetary/planning need.
Little bit different in our industry. Like I tell the sales guys, tell me what you sold this week not what you quoted.
Weather people were completely wrong. It is pouring rain and I guarantee it is gonna flood here yet again in Saint Louis ...pouring 1 to 2 inches an hr right now
Supposed to be a guest less weekend, wife's friend invited herself up with her husband. Her husband is a good guy and will bring halibut so there is that.
Slow people. At EVERYTHING they do. Stopped to get gas and a bag of ice today at a small town gas station. Old lady ahead of me in line. Took her over 5 minutes to write a frickin check. I don't care how old/feeble you are, hand the check to the cashier and let them fill it out if your that incompetent. In general, I just hate slow people.
Whoever the engineers are at Chrysler/Fiat that designed the battery location for the 3.6 V6 engine that has been their V6 in most vehicles since 2014 should be drawn, quartered, disemboweled, shot, hung, buried then dug up to do it all again. A car battery should never be located towards the bottom of an engine, behind the bumper. I had to remove the driver’s side tire and then plastic liner in the wheel well just see it. To remove it required three different sizes of ratcheting wrenches to remove because the space was too small to get a socket wrench in there and the engineers couldn’t design it with the same size bolts for the brackets or either the positive or negative cables. It took 45 minutes just to get the old battery out. Then another 30 to O’Reilly’s and back. Then another hour to get it back in the ridiculously small space in the bumper and reattached the bracket and cables. I started at 3 pm this afternoon and finished at 5:30. No car battery replacement should take more than 20 minutes
People whom show a lacking of any compassion or understanding of another person's struggles. I just dislike such self absorbed petty acting people.
