Just a little of what they had to take down due to disease and one lightening strike.

Well they are not lying that the new I phone is submersible. Was working on the dock, I need to put plates in on a joint. Had the stainless plate clamped in place, pulled the plastic deck panel back to mark the holes on the inside, got one side done. Went to mark the other side and the deck panel had moved and was not supported. Flipped me right over my right arm got stuck big knot on my forearm with a gouge, wife thought it was a compound fracture. I told her do you think I could stand here holding a beer in my hand if I had a compound fracture. Oh and the water is pretty f'ing cold.

Being a Minnesota sports fan. I am a Packer fan but other than football I am a Minnesota sports fan and I can tell you it sucks. The Minnesota Wild going into the playoffs with players setting franchise records for goals all that crap and the freaking dogs once again can not get their sorry asses out of the first round once again. Oh yeah the Twins played against a real baseball team last night and got done.

When you buy a used travel trailer and notice before buying that the hand hold handle going into the trailer is loose and point it out to salesman. He says “we have a great serviceman, he’ll fix that no problem”.
After the fix, by their “great serviceman” who looks to be about 22 years old.

YIKES... and I gotta' go to Sam's Club today. I don't really like going there though. As you know, they have a ton of self checkouts and only like 5 regular, with usually only 2 open. And... naturally I have to be behind a customer with a cart full of groceries and stuff... ugh.

80's sunny and a stiff east wind. The farm field 50' from our porch to the east is in the process of getting a heavy dose of.....liquid cow ****e.....no rain due for days...wonderful.
This means the next few years should be corn next door. That will put our place as a staging area. The tree cut has opened up way more Sun in the woods and good plot areas . All we need is a bit more rain than what we are getting...which is none.

EXCUSE ME, EXCUSE ME.......HOW DID ANYONE KEEP THEIR BABIES ALIVE from the time of human evolution ?????? Not every mother could breast feed, not every one of their babies died....I wish I still had goats. Goat milk has been a substitute for moms milk a long long time...if I recall, sheep may be as well.

1 to 7 hrs on upper field then 7:30 to 1:30 on field next to us. Non stop manure spreading...that is a lot of ****e!
Full heavy spray no till in.
Give them credit...they c a me over and measured from our well to the field and marked the 100 ft no spread zone with the driver. Not that it matters ,well was contaminated their first year and hey the field is up hill from us. It's clear skies, bright sun in the 80's...I can literallytaste ****e.
That said, I'm not sad corn is going back in.

There are corporate farms a few counties east that put so much liquid gold on the fields, very few have good wells.

The bedrock is very close to the surface. In some places, less than 10 feet.

When fishing in Lake MI, one can still smell the manure 5 miles off shore.

At one time, we had thought of a second home in that area. Not anymore!

Enough with the damn weather, we have been piss pounded with storms this week. Last night I was was up later than normal when my phone rings it is my neighbor. A tree had blown down across the road and he could not get in. I bolted down there with the chainsaw and head lamp. If you thought cutting up a tree in the dark and rain sucked you would be right.

Gotta love the online head hunters that send a job recommendation to apply for which I am the hiring manager and direct supervisor. How about sending me some qualified candidates?

I agree. But.....you're a good neighbor. I would have done it, and have. Gets paid back in other ways.

Didn't get much sleep the last 2 nights. Live in a mobile home. Lot of clean up tomorrow. Nothing major to anyone's home. Mostly tree damage and debris. One is laying on a roof but, no holes. Done right, we shouldn't damage shingles. Gonna fire up the grills, have a big BBQ and get it cleaned up. That's what good neighbors do. Lol.

    Until the next one.....

We spent most of the day cleaning and fixing the boss's wife's enclosed chicken fence. Wind blew down a big tree on it last night. Was not expecting that this morning when I showed up for work. This weather sucks is starting to be an understatement !!!!!

I gave the wife one job to do after she got done with work. Pick me up some rubber gloves for working on the chloride filled tractor tires tomorrow. Working on tractor tires is a manly job with a lot of grunting, cussing and more cussing type job. This is what she got me. WTF !!!!!

I just had to throw out 5# of fresh steak cubes because apparently after I put it in the mixing bowl and turned around to get the fajita seasoning God damn stink bug landed in the bowl and when I started mixing it all of a sudden all I can smell was stink bug. I found a little sucker but I still had to throw everything out
