I'd like to see the new movie Paul the Apostle of Christ but the nearest theater to me showing it is 75 miles away. What the actual heck is going on with this movie and so limited showings in theaters? Good grief.

My travel schedule is going to suck. Next week I have a meeting in Fort MacMurray a one day meeting but I fly into Edmonton then drive 4-1/4 hours north. 1 day meeting that will require 3 days. Then I get back and head to Ohio for 3 days, back then go to Calgary for a sunday-Friday week, followed by New York on a Saturday thru Thursday trip followed by a Sunday-Friday week in Louisiana and have to give a paper at a conference. Going to be a late start on the food plots this year.
So, I'm not a huge fan of The Simpsons, hardly have ever watched the show but... Now there's an Indian comedian complaining that the character Apu is a racist interpretation of Indian people.... Here's a clue dumbass...the entire show is created of stereotypical characters based on race, character and moral character. He complains that the Apu is voiced by a white guy...Here's your second clue dumbass...he still sounds exactly like an Indian... Now the show itself responded in show and the racists are complaining about it being weak because they want an apology and their collective butts kissed. The show basically told them to kiss off in it's response. Personally, had I been the creator of the show, I'd have written a show where Apu claimed a false case of racism and got burned alive in a horrific accident while all the characters laughed and pointed.
Good post, Covey. Mel Brooks said awhile back that PC will be the death of all good comedy. Folks can't laugh at their own demographic stereotype anymore.
What a great time to be alive, where the hurt feelings of one person (so long as they are a minority) are able to cause a PC sh1tstorm and try and change something. In this case, the much loved institution that is The Simpsons, a show almost as old as the guy making the complaints.
Good thing I am close enough to being old enough to be considered crazy old man sota so I can get away with being non PC. My kids are raised so I don't have to have a filter and curse far too much.
When ever I invite family or a group of friends over I welcome them all and explain at my house you will get treated so many different ways you are bound to like one off them.
I’m constantly either playfully offending or being very sarcastic with people but my accent makes it sound charming and polite lol
