Winds have been rotten here this past fall thorough winter. Woke up this morning to 28 °. It's now 58.
It never rained at my place last night it went right to snow, this winter will never end. Supposed to have the dock put in May 7th I am starting to worry that the ice will not be off.
When your buddy with giant hands asks how much cheese you want on your tater and you respond “uhhh.. a handful or two”…
I found a pile of fur and an adults deer's lower rear leg...right where I found the dead fawn last year. I had planned. Going down to hunt them the last week of season then got Vivid right after we really nasty cold spell. ..hhhmmmm
Woke up to a 2.5' snow drift on the road starting right north of the garage and going south past my second driveway where I park my vehicles. All could have been avoided if some idiot would have moved his vehicles farther back in the yard away from the road with the NE wind. Won't say who the idiot is but he knows better with a NE wind. I will be cussing him out all day.
I was at my bar doing some work when a hail storm hit. It really came down, the ground was white and completely covered in hail. My truck and my dump truck were both outside. So far it doesn't look like any damage. I'll inspect further once the rain lets up. Fingers crossed.
I hope not. Boss got stuck in his yard this morning. He called and said I might as well stay home today. Even though it is 27 degrees out, he said a guy wouldn't last long in the nasty wind if he got stranded. Now they are saying this cr@p is here until Friday night or maybe Saturday morning. The college the wife works for, called off school yesterday and won't open back up until Monday. OMG... that means she will come up with projects to do in the house. I am going outside to watch my snowbank. Maybe fire up the snow blower and help it along.
Jim must have put his snowplow back on his truck. He opened the roads up in town. Great, now I just need to shovel from the garage to the street. No problem. I was replacing another electrical outlet in a room in the house. The wife hollers that Jim is back pushing big piles of snow in my driveway. By the time I get to the door to go out and stop him, he is done and drives away. I walk out to see he cleaned in front of the garage so the wife can get her car out. While it is a little maddening, it is kind of hard to be mad at him. Seems he likes the wife. I now have 3 big piles in my driveway but can still make it out by driving on the grass. I am not shoveling that wet, packed cr@p. Winters gotta end sometime. Hopefully very soon!
Since Sota disliked your post, I don't have to be the bad guy. LOL My day just got better after that. I squeaked the truck by the 3 snow piles and go get gas for it. $130 !! F Brandon !!!!!! I walked into the Farmers Union and gave Daryl hell for helping Biden steal my money with his high priced gas. He laughed. I turn around and guess who comes walk up to me? Jim. I thanked him for plowing out the garage driveway for the wife and left it at that. He apologized for dumping all the snow in my driveway. Said the snow was so heavy and wet he couldn't push it any farther. Told him not to worry about it. He felt pretty bad about it. Glad I didn't say anything even jokingly about the 3 piles.
