That's right on the horizon. I think that's what that event was all about- BHO was signaling that A) It's time to dump Brandon, B) BHO is handing over the Face to Commie-La [she introd BHO], and C) BHO will still be in charge. Couple that with all the Laptop stuff that's being reported on State Run media... not hard to see what's coming.
Doing a small plumbing job and being one fitting short. And NOBODY has one. There are 4 potential options and not one is available. Had to order it and that might still take until late next week.
Can the rest of the place operate without it? If not, install a shut off valve until the parts arrive. Sent from my SM-G981U using Tapatalk
Oh yeah. Just moved a wash tub over about 2 feet. Need the pex to faucet adaptor. The water is shut off for that line. I take that back. BOTH lines are shut off cause the wife doesn't know how to open the single lever faucet without it backfeeding the cold water through the hot water supply line. Good grief!
But just think of all the fun you will be missing. My other sister got a text from the her late this afternoon. Was ultimatums and a threat that she would not sign off to allow us to sell the farmstead and land. The ultimatums where quite funny but I don't do threats. You want to threaten me, you will not win. I don't need the cash and will hold out signing off until hell freezes over if she wants to play that game. She needs the cash. I wonder who can hold out longer?? I changed my mind. Now I want the one thing we were both interested in. I now also want the other thing she " must " have. I have a feeling her power trip and empty threat will vanish in less time then it did for her to think it up. My sister who got the text, told me to play nice. Then we both laughed. She is pretty cool. I really have enjoyed the time we have spent together on this. She doesn't need the money either. She gives me so much crap that I ended up with the best inheritance... the horse and how soon I will need the cash to afford keeping her. She does have a point. I will play nice... for now.
@TJF When I went through settling my parents estate I had 2 brothers and 1 sister to contend with. My youngest brother was great and helped me tremendously. My other brother was a drunk who caused a lot of problems. One call to his probation officer solved that by sending him back to jail for 2 years. My sister caused problems by trying to over charge the estate for her cleaning and painting services. Her and her husband own a painting company and her a cleaning company. She was told up front that this was a family deal and that we weren't going to pay her a ton of money. They only showed up after my younger brother and I had done the bulk of the work of emptying the house and filling dumpsters by ourselves. She tried way overcharging the estate for their services. They tried to include things like painter pants (clothes), sunglasses, brushes, rollers .... you name it. I said hell no, that's not how it works, I'll give you X amount of money period. She to us ( the estate ) to court and lost. The judge deemed my offer to be fair mostly because I had estimates from other contractors that matched my offer for the same services that she did. In the end, she cost the estate money for extra litigation of which she was on the hook for 25% of that bill and incurred her personal attorney fees as well. Not to mention the extra months it took to settle the estate. That was not a super fun time. Again, good luck to you. My rant ........ it is trying to snow here today. Enough already!
Best approach to estate resolution I ever saw was my wife’s great aunt. Items in the will were doled out first. They had an appraiser come in and price everything else not listed in the will. All heirs were quoted ‘their share’ and had first dibs to buy or bid up (if more than 1 heir had interest) and docked from ‘their share’. The rest went to auction and the remaining proceeds were prorated based on remaining balance. What didn’t sell went to the junk Yard or donated…
What is this "sign off" crap?? Do you not have an executor of the estate? Or are ALL of you executors? (most unusual)
Tell me again how hard it is to kill a tom turkey? I went out to my truck and there was a tom strutting on the driveway. I used trees between me and him and got within 20 yards. Stupid ugly birds.
He is no jake either, nice big bird looks like he would do $2000 in damage if you hit him with a vehicle.
They are predicting 14 - 18 inches of the white crap for us next week. Strong winds. This darn wind just doesn't stop. Blew a semi off the road yesterday. Took a bunch of shingles off some buildings in town here. One guy just shingled his house last fall. He has to do it again on the north side of his house. Should have went metal.
