    A few inches here
As for groceries...I haven't been shopping in over 2 weeks. 2 full freezers two fridges with half freezers. Five shelves of canned goods and two cabinets filled as well. Save for milk and cream...I could go a few months no problem. I buy everything in bulk.

Update to this. Saturday evening I startef hearing "whacks", waited for security cams to cycle around. Neighbor had one of his crac.... honor roll student friends out inbthe yard with an axe. Funny thing is, it was a light axe, not a hatchet but had to be shorter than 36" and light head. I wouldn't have used it for anything more tham a camp axe.

Anyhow, the downed tree was mostly dead and while standing hollow to like 18 feet or so. He was swinging that axe like a madman for about 4 minutes  Axe head was bouncing of most times and I'm most certain he had some "bad vibrations" going into his hands. After about 20-30 whacks he yelled out "son of a *****" and tossed the wanna be axe down in anger

    What a dolt....

Today, neighbor actually came out and got all the limbs out of the yard but main shoot still laying across his yard.

Can only wonder why ehoever had the chainsaw when they fell it didn't take an extra 10-15 minutes to cut it into 2-3 foot sections.

Don't do drugs people, or do work for them....

Today we see the assessor hubby calculated the increase for each property
    She assessed as follows
    1. Two parcels side by side
    Just under 19 acres 110 %
    Just under 181/2 acres 176%
    2. the parcel that has deed restrictions commercial and residential plus swamp at road frontage and steep with steams across its 400 ft width shale is the top flatter 2acres. 24 1/2acres 240%
    3. house and 91/2 acres 91.4%
Pics and last two appraisals in hand. This should be interesting.

    Sorry to hear that.

Mine went down about $275 and should go down again next year. The borrowing for the school district will be paid off.

    Or NYS
Just found out that neighbor that has a remodeled older well made 4 bedroom house with attached garage front porch enclosed side porch and a huge deck. Manicured yard with a 1/2 acre pond is right now assessed for 10 thousand less than our 2bedroom modified A Frame. They have a new roof, newer siding just last year they had their foundation redone with New basement Windows put in. Her living room dining room is bigger than our entire down stair. That doesn't include her office /laundry room bathroom and big eat in kitchen.

Got suckered into trying that new zero sugar coke that they won’t shut up about on the television… I’ll be honest, if you haven’t tried it you should just just give your dog a rimjob. Both options will taste like dog ****, but at least you won’t have to spend a dollar for the privilege of tasting butthole.

The joys off settling the estate after mom died. While almost everything is going good. there is always that one sibling that just has to F things up and make the rest of our lives hell. There are 5 of us. 4 of us are on the same page. The 5th one is on a page of her own in a different universe from reality. You know, the one that mooched off the folks her whole life. We are not talking a little amount. Mom figured an easy $100.ooo over the years. She lives out of state and is afraid she is not going to get her fair share. She texted me and one of my sisters. She said she is moving to the farm until it is settled. She will bring one of hers sons with his family. 3 little toddlers breaking stuff and stuff disappearing. She has a lovely track record of swiping stuff from mom and even one of the sisters.

Would love to say that ain't happening but legally we don't think we can stop her since she is on the trust. I get the fun job off calling her tomorrow night and trying to talk some sense into her.

pretty sure I will be making another post on the rant thread tomorrow night. Would it be tacky to say to her, I have access to a track hoe and know a lot of good spots to bury a body?? I would even say it nicely.

I texted a picture of the track hoe to my other sister. She texted back, " is that for the body?" I texted her back, " There is no body if no one can find it." She told me to quit texting her. She was at work and people were staring at her because she was laughing.

Man have I seen that in hubbys family. Boy Oh boy when his grandmother past there were 3 sisters and ****e hit the fan. Then his mom and Dad had everything legally tied right up to avoid the same with their three kids. Dads just giving it away every few years as he ages. He lives with youngest so what ever she may get boy does she deserve it.
Due to some things ours could be a tad messy but I think the kids, just 2, will handle it well. I'm easy I don't have a bunch of stuff..daughter gets my jewelry. Son gets my tools. Grandsons get my hunting stuff. Hopefully we'll live long enough to sell everything and move into a comfy retirement place I'm hoping for at least another 26 yrs.

2023 Nascar hall of fame candidates. Carl Edwards, Matt Kenseth, and AJ Foyt. Are you kidding me how was AJ Foyt not in 20 years ago?
