Facebook and Twitter will end free speech. Ironic as it may sound, truth it will become.

That's my Yoda speak for the day.

I got a facebook suspension for 3 days for calling this guy a "see you in tee". 2 days in I get a new 7 day suspension for this.... which was posted earlier in the conversation.

Shoveled several inches of heavy wet snow from end of both drives, 150 ft of drive and the mail box. I do 30 ft on approach and 30 ft leaving the mail box because it's on the crest of the hill. That avoids traction issues.
So someone please tell me why in the world does this cause glute pain but not back arm or shoulders? My God it literally hurts to sit every time I shoveled this year...lol

I disagreed with them and they agreed I didn't break their community standards and removed the 7 day ban. 15 more hours

DARN VA... disability changes coming! The changes are part of a months-long review of the department’s Schedule for Rating Disabilities, which governs how VA staffers evaluate and compensate veterans with service-connected injuries. Proposed changes will mean lower payouts for veterans with sleep apnea and tinnitus in the future but higher payouts for veterans facing mental health challenges like post-traumatic stress disorder and depression. I submitted a claim in 2018 that has the potential to take me to 80% (it's currently at the Board of Appeal, awaiting a Judges decision regarding multiple denials and 0% ratings). With the proposed changes, I can just see myself having the judge remand several conditions so I'll have to go get re-examined under the new criteria. After that I'll be lucky to be granted 30%... ugh

Here's an article in Military Times regarding the changes and impact to veterans: https://www.militarytimes.com/veter...for-tinnitus-mental-health-issues-may-change/

What a day got to my parents at 4am after leaving home at 2 pm up at 6:30 went and saw my Mom. It is worse you can see the fracture lines around her eyes and the left side of the skull, hardest thing my brother and I got there first my Dad got there 20 minutes later, seeing my Dad hold my Mom's hand as he looks at her and cries, it's a lot and it sucks. I did hold her hand and tell her I love her and walk out of the room crying. Please let this end soon.

I've read and reread this post many times, but have not been able to respond. I'm so sorry for you and your family having to deal with this.

I hope your mothers pain is nonexistent and the pain for her loved ones is eased in knowing she will soon be in a better place.

Strength and peace be with you all, now and after.

Hopefully you and your brother being there will allow her peace in knowing you're with Dad...I will keep you in my thoughts and hope this will allow her to go peacefully, soon.

We try to keep our sense of humor. My Mom is notoriously tardy always running late, I said to her this morning Mom we are all here and you are still not ready to go. Today is day 7 off life support.

Damn man sorry to hear all this. When lost my dad I wasn't around and still sucks today to think about. All can do is try and be there and hopefully they know, sometimes ppl hang on for whatever reason and can be hard to watch. Dad hung on until mom told him to stop and that we'd be fine and that finally put him at ease.

So, your strong will is obviously genetic

I know it's a tough time, humor one of my favorite defense mechanisms too, especially over the emotional pain of grieving.

I know it will be hard for her to be gone, but perhaps it's extra time to get affairs in order and to continue to love on her and your other family members.

    Keep it together brother.

We live in such a stupid and fake world where different warlords and top military people are tweeting threats during a war. Tweeting taunts to their fellow man about killing them. I reject this completely. I'm telling you, I'm bowing out of all of this one day. Not even going to read the news or even try to understand this worldly sickness. Disappear. You'll find me in a river somewhere trying to land the big one.

plus they very frequently need to order actual cash for any anticipated payouts over $10k.
For my job I frequently have to approve large cash withdrawals. Our administrator always calls ahead for anything over $10k just to make sure they have enough cash on hand. We learned this the hard way. This is from a large national bank branch in a pretty large Chicago suburb.
