Since taxes are beimg discussed, give it another month or so and I'd be willing to be one of the vote qinning talking pointa for Dems will be the child income credit relief for those who got an advanced payment last year and therefore do not get it when they file. I'm sure a lot of people think it was free money like the covid stimulus.

For most families, like mine, it was only half of the child credit. But, yeah, you are right most people are probably going to be surprised by a smaller refund or even owing some. Term limits and tax code overhaul will mostly fix America. But, to do that, the people are going to have to be united against all the career politicians in Washington. Party line thinking has got to die.
More sad than rant.. Went to get procedure meds in nearest small town. Left side of mainstreet on fire. Speculation on whether it was the Chinese Restaurant or an air fryer in a apartment above. Thankfully no people dead but fire was still going. Two pets a dog and cat gone. Several business shot. The rant is MY GOD clean your air fryer coils and grease around them once a week. No one should have to be told that. Do not use parchment in it. If your too lazy to clean use silicone pad and buy a few. It's a strong fan circulating air. If your food isn't heavy enough to hold that paper down it will suck up into those hot coils.

The real reason Coach Howard became upset was because his team has underperformed all year and his anger erupted bc of some stupid thought process.
I was at a youth soccer tourney this past weekend and stood by a big group of teens from out of state. Every other word out of their mouth was the N word and mother fer. Grown adults stood next to them and did nothing to stop their behavior. This country has such a crappy culture brewing.
Disgusting. Sure glad my coaching career is long over, never had to deal with that, I never tolerated cursing.
I have to say when they bought those huge ladder trucks , the criticism was real. Not many tall buildings around here. Man how lucky there were two on scene that fire breached the roof fast. They also by the grace of God missed the winds we had last night and right now. The fire had been burning hours before I got to pharmacy across and 4 businesses down. My cousins use to own one of the restaurants that were damaged. The Chinese place was 2 doors down from there. Sad for a near dead town.
