That really sucks VS, hope they can get it figured out for you. You won't know what to do when you get back to 100% again, it'll be a foreign feeling.

Snow blower is so much easier than a 4 wheeler and plow. Didn't plan on using it this year, if ever again, so didn't do proper drive treatment leading up to winter. Had some clumps of grass and wind blown leaf piles that it doesn't like. It's only a Craftsman 5.0hp 2 cycle so nothing fancy. Need to look at the throttle linkage, not sure everything is working as it should. Either that or the auger needs looked at. Just wasn't throwing snow consistently and chute would clog up. Would have probably worked better had I not driven on it twice and did it before the sun started compacting it. Fuel shut off is a bit rigged right now to be able to access it. Need to find one that e-clips on the underside of a panel if such one exists. Starts first pull.
It's really uncomfortable and has been for 6 weeks. Vision obscured and just an uneasiness. Wearing me down.
Worried about hubby...he has gone from WTH! How stupid is this.?! Company bid a job you guys in construction knows how jobs go. Not all companies do all things, well some jobs have an add on sheet. The company that's project manager put out an add ons list hubbys company did not check. Explains the short list of bidders this had. 1. All formans will gather before the start of day to do 4 mins of stretching. There will be a group huddle each morning...it just gets worse from there... I can't imagine him telling his foremans they have to do this. The company just lost 1 superintendent and 2 of their best foremans and a couple of workers. When he told me I laughed and said your kidding...No He's gone from How ridiculous to waking up late this morning raging mad. Apparently he did a search last night before bed. ...Company named the best LGBT, blah blah blah company to work for. I see retirements door just about completely open. I do not care who or even what someone screws Just keep it out of any and all business.
Had the truck warming up to do my saturday morning cruise around the WMA I look out on the lake looks like a dog or coyote out on the lake. I hop in the truck and drive down to the landing started going up the ice road on the west side of the lake and it moved so I quick turn around to go up the east side to cut it off. Yeah I got stuck the snow drifted. I was sitting in the truck thinking about the quote for new tires I have sitting in the house, what was I thinking driving on the lake with tires with 50,000 miles on them. I was pondering if I should hike home and either get a shovel or the 1/2 mile walk with the snowblower. I got out and tried to kick some snow out with my boots while cursing myself. Got the truck to go a foot forward then a little back to 5 or 6 rocks then I got some momentum, concentrating on the mirror to keep the tires in the tracks. Seemed like it took 5 minutes but I backed to west side road back to clear road. Was very happy to put it back in drive and get off the lake. Glad I didn't have to spend a couple hours getting the truck out, still a little pissed at myself.
This might get me my first dislike but I had to laugh when I read construction foremans, the 4 minutes stretching, group huddle and LGBT. They say karma is a b!tch, but back in the old days the construction worker were cat calling women as they walked by. It only fair the LGBT should get the same chance to cat call the construction worker. Stretch it big boy !!

Years back, before I retired my company had us doing stretching and exercising before starting work. They actually thought that the employees would come in a bit earlier and perform these exercises before the start of our work hours. Ha ha! Guess how that worked out. The idea was probably a sound one but that routine didn't last very long before we just stopped doing it.

That damn Liberty Mutual commercial with Doug and Lemu using the whistles to call Lemu. Screws with my dog and sends him under the bed and won't come out. He's lost quite a bit of his hearing at nearly 15, but he can still hear those. Same thing happens when the smoke detector chirps when battery gets low, which usually starts when I'm at work and don't know about it.
How ironic is that? I think I remember someone one here saying how someone was a “dumb ass” for driving on a lake and getting stuck?
