I PARTIALLY BLAME THE PARENTS The first time I saw an issue with my kids in school I went to teachers and to the principals. I made it clear they were not allowed to question my kids about ANYTHING without my presence and that my kids had been ordered by us to respond to ANY questions please call my mother and NOTHING ELSE. I made sure they knew we had a lawyer in the wings. The over reach and pure BS I viewed from the kindergarten testing on up had me in their face from day one
I remember them trying to keep my son from kindergarten. He'd been in nursery school 2 yrs. Our daughter went to Catholic kindergarten before him. The school psychologist tried to hold him back. He wasn't expecting me. What's your reasoning for this? He's not socially prepared. You need to clarify that, it's an incomplete reason. What makes you say that. Well when asked a question he replays why do you ask? He refuses answers without a reason for the question. Oh so because he's intelligent enough to understand questions need to have a reason behind them you deem him socially stunted? Did you reason out that by answering him he may have deemed the question valid? He's too young to understand that. Apparently your not smart enough to understand his intelligence. He went to kindergarten with an order that school psychologist was not allowed to speak to him with out my being there..

Minnesota, specifically the Twin City metro area and suburbs are in trouble. This week in SW suburbs that tend to be affluent there were 6 break ins while the families were home. People are being advised to keep your cars locked garage door down, all entrance doors locked while you are in your own home. I hope I never catch somebody entering my home, they are not sneaking in. I am not worried about myself emptying the revolver I worry about my wife, she would be pistol whipping the corpse when the cops arrived a half hour later.

Ordered a carburetor for my snow blower. Came a day early so wemt out to the garage and installed it. Fuel lines all had clamp style hose clamps, not the screw to tighten one, aside from one. All 3 busted when I tried to squeeze them to loosen. New carb came with 2 so am down 1. I know I don't have any as when I changed the petcock on my 4 wheeler I had to go buy a couple. At the time all the ships were floating off the west coast so they didn't have packages in fuel line size. Ended up way over paying for a different style they had behind the counter as individuals. Only bought what I needed.

So have 5-6" fresh snow on the ground and decide to wait for the morning simce it is blowing and drifting. New carb came with 2 new filters and a shut off valve. Figured I'd install it so I can run the carb dry for storage. Snip the line and mock it up, dumbass, now you're short 3 hose clamps.

Not only that, once I put the covers back on I won't be able to access it to turn it on or off. So now I have to get 3 hose clamps and a foot or so of fuel line so I can cut the cover and somehow rig the on/off valve so it is exposed.

Is it just me? The first victoria secret model with downs syndrome. On the one hand good for her, on the other do you want to sexualize a vulnerable individual? Is someone with downs syndrome capable of consent? My daughter no way in hell.

    you guys are cute.

    my rant...

so Sunday I told Mrs. Noodlés that I was going back on carnivore, my BP is back up as is my weight. Been doing good so far this week.

I get home from work today to find that Mrs. Noodlés Puerto Rican half won out today, there was a giant pan of seafood paella on the stove. Not only is her paella delicious, it also costs about $75 to make because she forgets that we are a family of 2, not 20 per Puerto Rican standard, which means we have enough paella to last a week, 2x per day.

...so I basically destroyed 3 days of carni efforts. I am pretty sure my BP is close to 180/100. I'm not joking, after eating my 3rd helping I laid down to take a nap and I could feel my carotid banging on my neck.

    sabotage.

What is it with making so much food? There is also just the two of us. If it is a hotdish, stew, burgers, chicken or etc... she makes enough to feed 10 people. To not waste it, you will eat leftovers for 4 days. Let me rephrase that... I will eat leftovers for 4 days. She will only eat leftovers once. So I am still working on the leftovers from one meal while she is making another big meal. Then she gets mad at me for not eating what she made that night. I make the comment to quit making so damn much food so it doesn't go to waste. She says fine, she will not cook then!! You just can't win!!!!! I also love her cooking, so I really, really don't want that to happen.

It's a woman thing same conversations in our home. I can give my reason... The older I get the more I HATE COOKING. I'm actually a great cook, just finding I have to do it EVERY Single Day like it or not is irritating when I could care less. So, make a lot then you avoid some lunches and a dinner or two prep work. I freeze a bunch of left overs.
All that said since keto it's gotten way better. ,Now he complains there isn't enough left overs. I don't eat any of the veggies he likes and what I do eat I prefer to be in a salad not cooked.
So that's one woman's take on this.
    PS
Last night for just 2 of us. I did a 8 hour slow cook on an entire rack of pork ribs. We have 2/3of it in the frig..best $1.99 per # with great left overs I've spent in a long time.

Try coming after a micro manager when people are conditioned to expect or desire micro managing.

It worked great when we had 3 kids a1t home. With both of us working, it still works well as I would rather eat home cooked leftovers than crappy store-bought pizza and such. Really like it when she does chicken up on a Friday night when she has to work that weekend. So, trust me, I don't complain much.
