Update to a previous rant...Well I think I put it in rant....logging along our line.
So property owner called to tell me he went with this guy...Ok they arer out there with dozers making logging roads through this 2 ft snow. They have been told to stay 15 ft off line. I told him I'd be hiking out to check. They made a road 15 to 30 ft off line...geez way better soil than I expected. I talked to the cutters and I was brutally honest, they said they'll keep nimrod out of woods and at landing. That yes,he had a bad past but " He's really tried to clean up his act and is better." My response was ya right! I wouldn't trust him as far as I could throw him.
There are 3 veneer maple they know needed 3 blue slashes and would do that today. I suggested what other loggers have had to do..WRITE IN BLUE DO NOT CUT. I let them know I would be out to take pics to make sure.

So they watched A.J. and I bounding through the deep snow and in the conversation one operator looked at me and said how old are you? Lol Well my birthday is in a month I said 64. The other guy that walked me down the line turned to him and said. "You should have seen her trucking through that 2 ft of snow!" Yep not a problem for me I do it everyday and I know every square inch of my land.
So far so good for now....besides guy I talked to was sorta begging to get on our place....he has his own logging company that's working with nimrod for the dozersers...tells me everything...lol

That was my fourth fix to that! Not only does this kindle writes what ever...it developed a stutter..lol

If the wind would back off just a bit. Getting tired of 30 mph winds gusting to 50 mph every other day. This winter has just not been fun at all. A lot of snow. We finally got up to 37 yesterday and now will be 20 below this morning.

^^^^here as well...watching the trees rocking now...talking to logger the other day we were pointing out all the sheerd off tree tops maple and cherry alike. Big timber trees.
Deep snow that has now gotten way worse because we hit 50 yesterday ,sleet this morning dropping to teens and low 30's this week. No more woods walks because dropping through crusty snow is dangerous to legs and ankles.

I love it when it is cold then it warms up and snows and after the front passes that cold windy high pressure behind it is so refreshing. Those mornings when I forget to bring in the fob from the truck the night before and I have to bring it in to thaw it to start the truck so precious. I hope climate change does not shorten our Minnesota winters those 4-5 months of being frozen are way underrated. Wife says she has 7 winters left when she turns 62 she will not be doing winter, I'm going to miss her.

Idiots they should stick to aborting. Kids need 2 parents involved every day not be treated like an accessory for occasional weekends. Kids require priority in a parents life, that is part of it parents facilitate learning and growth requires everyday involvement. You have to be committed to your spouse and children as a unit not when you have downtime.

Why does KFC not offer a BBQ chicken option? Sometimes they do and when they do not it is stupid. Kind of a pointless rant the closest KFC is 45 minute away.

The Berlin wall has been gone for a many days as it was in place... Though I wasn't yet invented when it was built, I recall Mr Reagan's plea to tear it down...

My rant, how old I'm realizing I am... Sigh.

I have a piece of the wall somewhere in a box in a closet, I know it made the move. When we moved my daughter asked why we had cement with paint on it in a jar, has to explain what the Berlin Wall was.

    This is a f**king shame.

    https://www.newsobserver.com/news/state/north-carolina/article258375508.html

Hunter and Stephanie were two of the kindest and most generous folks I ever met. The kind of people who would truly give a stranger the shirt off their backs and not think twice about it.

They started and were the main organizers behind the Sarah James Fulcher charity red drum tournament, which in 4 years has grown to become the largest red drum fishing tournament in the world and has raised $500k+ for rural communities and towns all over eastern NC.

Saturday was a one-day special youth waterfowl season so they invited a group of kids to come up to the waterfowl impoundment Hunter owns to go hunting. They were all flying back home in Hunter’s plane when it crashed yesterday.

were you asking me? Sorry, didn't see until just now.
And I honestly don't remember, it was like 3 years ago. Pre-C-19. It's like B.C., but with electricity.
