Been after this buck for 3 years now. He is like hunting a ghost. I have only laid eyes on him one time while in the stand but he is on my cameras often. The fist pic is him as a 3 year old and the jump he made as a 4 year old. He showed up this late season and has snapped of his left side. Must have been in one heck of a battle to do that! I am excited to see what he turns into next season!
What size tract of land are you hunting and do you think you are pressuring him to much, all the pics are at night has he gone totally nocturnal? Good luck with him next year...
It's about 300 acres. I don't hunt on the side of the farm he is on unless I have the perfect conditions to be in there. It's just the nature of this deer. Even as a 2 year old he wa almost fully nockternal already. Still fun to know he's still around to hunt.
