So some of you know 2 years back I chased a buck coined RD extremely hard to no avail....few close calls but nothing. Well this year we didn't have a single pic of him till of course the pull after I harvested Kicks (avatar pic) this season on this property....well from there he kept popping back up and I kept kneeling and praying for this camera pull today! Season closed for good and he is still standing....and hitting the Monsterraxx food plot extremely hard this winter!!! Hopefully 2014 will finally be the year this bad boy meets me horn to hand!
love the picture with his head in the snow and then the snow covered face. Wish he would have faced the camera. But good luck with him and hope you find his sheds.
I know right...if he'd taken the other trail left of camera it would have been an awesome sequence!!! (not that it isn't still...just not as epic as what could have been)
I put him at 3 1/2 at the youngest in 2012...so this year he is 5 1/2 or older no doubt in my mind at all.
Great looking buck. The way he showed up after you killed Kicks makes me wonder if Kicks was dominant and pushing RD out of your area. Best of luck, hope you're able to put an end to the RD story!
