    Hunting near public land

I respect anybody that can go out and ethically kill deer on public land. Especially here in Wisconsin. But this year a group of 10 guys drove the pi$$ out of a piece of public across the road from our property. I dont know what they killed and recovered, but i know for sure of three deer they wounded that lived. Two were hit in the back leg, one dangled completely by skin at the knee and recently fell off. One also one had its tail blown off, and shot in the guts it appears. I almost hope something puts them out of their misery at this point now that the season is over. I know bad shots happen but not three times in one drive.

Unfortunately there are mega-slobs in our ranks. Just be grateful they aren't trespassing.....yet.I've had the same problem on private land and I had 2 trailcams and a stand stolen this season. These are the type of idiots that cause the in-fighting among us.

Gotta love the shots on the run drives encourage...not that they always occur but they very much so encourage those shots to be taken....hopethe 3 legged one finds death soon.
