I have a hard time complaining about the price of an $800-1000 bow when I spend more than that a year in my cell phone service. Can't kill anything with my phone.

Sure a bow may have only been $100-200 in 1970, but the average income was only $9,350/yr and the average new car cost only $3,900.

I guess I'm more concerned about what they'd like me to pay for cable per month (95% of which is completely worthless to me).

Hey guys thanks for all your opions on this, wasn't tryn to stir up a hornets nests.. lol
But i did learn a few things from this post......
1 is if you enjoy something, you'll spend the $$$$ to do it, even if it takes you a year or so to save for it...
2 is bow manufactures are no diffrent then any other buisness, it is all about the bottom line.. I'm not saying their bad for doing this, but in my opinion if you sell a quality product at a cheaper price then your competion, you wuold sell more product.. again just my opinion...
and #3 some people take other peoples opinions way to seriouslly.. ( i mean quit hunting all together and take up golf and exotic dancing??) Lmao

A few of my mates think they have to have all the expensive gear and 2 of them when out an bought the new pse vendetta, and one has a hoyt katera. Im not blowning my own horn but i only shoot a 09 martin cheetah, shooting easton powerflights, tipped with a fairly cheap 2 blade fixed broadhead, and my results are much more successful, its all about spending the time on the targets and in the bush, people think that because they have all the best gear in the world that trophy animals are just going to walk up to them, clearly not true.

" I only shoot a 09 martin Cheetah"? I don't know if I would say "only", but I will say by picking the Cheetah your da man!! I love mine. It's a great shooting, good performance bow at half the cost (or less) of other bows in it's class.
