Haven't hunted here since Oct 2nd. Tonight movement should be good, but I expect it to be late. We have had north wind after north wind every day for 2 weeks. Tonight we have a south wind. The change in wind direction should trigger some movement, but it's still warm (74 degrees) so it will likely be late. To combat that I will be sitting about 100 yards off of my main food plot to hopefully catch a buck staging before dark. Tonight a cold front hits, tomorrow & Saturday will be great hunting days
I checked a small water hole I have this morning on my way out of the woods. I was pleasantly surprised to see fresh tracks everywhere & multiple trails leading to it. I set up a camera a few minutes ago to see what is coming around. I have to admit it put a smile on my face to find this....something I made, something so small, a 6ft circular hole with black plastic in the bottom, is attracting deer regularly.....this is why I'm obsessed with management

Put simple; Jordan quickly turned from a young guy that seemingly was just a hardcore hunter...that quickly let freaking antlers twist and turn any moral compass he had completely upside down. I question every buck he's shot in Iowa and Indiana honestly, sucks too as I was 100% duped by the dude myself.
