I'm so pissed off at my white trash neighbors I can't see straight. That colt I got for my daughter a few weeks ago has been killed by the neighbors pits. I have killed thier dogs before for killing my daughters rabbits. They replaced those dogs with more and now this. When confronted they got rid of the dogs, (this happened tuesday while I was at work) before I could get there and kill them again.
Sherriffs office wrote them a ticket. Thats all.
Well, I'm tired of this ****! I am generally a pretty nice guy but now its time to get ugly. My wife did some research,(she is an escrow agent), and found the mortgage holder for thier place. It is in a Deed of Trust and they are 6 months in arrears. He is tired of jacking with them. So, I am buying the note from the current mortgage holder. I will give them 30 days to get current and then I'll forclose. THIS HAS GONE TOO FAR! THIS MEANS WAR!

That is unbelieveable, Greg!! Can't you sue them for the price of the colt? Not that it will make your daughter feel better, tho...

people never cease to amaze me ....

They don't have a pot to piss in. They recently cut the tongue of the mobile home for scrap metal. They can't even afford to feed the dogs they get donations from Friends of the Animals, an animal rights like that operates down here. Oh and for you pit lovers that want to say its not the breed? BS! i've never seen a cocker spaniel or a brittney take on a horse.

I'm at a loss for words, Greg. I am SO sorry for your daughter (and you....as it would kill me).

Keep your cool, though. They obviously are so mentally inferior....that they maybe DON'T know any better. Just don't do something you'll regret.

    I wish you luck.

The only thing that irks me more than a dog running wild to do whatever is their owner. I think you're doing the right thing by buying the mortgage and then throwing them out on their butts. Fixes everything and totally legal.

Wow Greg. Props to you for controlling yourself. I totally agree with the steps you have taken. It's the only legal way left to take care of the problem. Good luck.

i wouldnt give them nothing as soon as you picked up the note on the place you should have went to the sherriffs office and got an eviction notice! thats a damn shame your youngun cant have an animal b/c of the pricks next door cant keep control of thier animals. you should file a civil suit and garnish thier wages until the $ you had in the colt is reimbursted. I hope your youngun isnt broken hearted about the colt.

Terrible tragedy. My niece's Greyhound was attacked by a pit while she was walking it on a leash. They were able to save her dog and after 2 years of legal wrangling got them to pay the vets bill. BTW, they were allowed to keep the pits.
How long will this legal procedure take for you to gain ownership? I wish you and your entire family well.

    Sorry to hear this...

Just make sure you think twice before you do something you will regret and possibly get in trouble for. With our courts as screwed up as they are, never know how something could go down, and you end up in jail.

That said, I hope you get more then even.

As angry as I am I am playing it cool now. I confronted the woman, (husband is in jail, go figure), and called her everything but a child of God. That just isn't like me. That let off the steam and I was then able to start using my head to solve the problem. If the dogs aren't gone by Sunday I will stake out a goat on my side of the fence and then put on my best camo,(Enigma), grab my wifes SKS and sit in the woods and protect my goat. The Jurassic Park method of animal control. I was given that advice by the precinct Constable who told me he can't do a thing unless he catches the dogs in the act. He owns a local gun shop, ( Wiley's Guns), and offered a great deal on ammo.
As far as my legal options we have given her until October 1st to settle the debt. at that time we will file a civil suit if the debt isn't paid and/or she still has dogs roaming free. We have already started the ball rolling on obtaining the property and must follow the law before we can foreclose and evict.
I want sooooo bad to just get primal and solve the problem with extreme predjudice but I know thats not the answer. Me being in jail isn't going to help the situation or my family. I will use only legal means to resolve this issue or I will sink to my neighbors white trash level. That is something I refuse to do.
Jim4 if you do hear of another colt please let me know, We are looking. we won't however move a small horse in until the danger has been eliminated. Sheree and Haley, the 2 girls we took in have their horses at our place and the dogs haven't bothered them. They are both mature mares and can defend themselves. Wally was just too young and small.
