I put him on two deer this year. This buck was his second buck since he started bow hunting last year. He shot a 9 point later on that evening in a place where I put him. He shot another buck last year in one of my spots. I told him that he is on his on next year.

Montana is a great state to hunt, A lot like Idaho in that its very diverse from its eastern plains to its Western Rockys.. I hunted the heck out of it when I was going to college in Dillon, Mt. Its been a long time though..20 years roughly.. since I bowhunted river bottom whitetails in Montana! I can not wait. Just doe hunting but its gonna be fun! I will try and take lots of pix. My buddy is gonna show me some country and then I may start putting in for a buck tag over there in the future. I live just 1 hour from the Montana State Line.. I need to get back to hunting over there more often.

That bottom picture Caleb is PRICELESS. Get a professional to blow it up for you and frame it man. I am telling you, in 50 years that thing will bring back a tremendous amount of memories and emotions.

130--GREAT pic. Wish I could have been out there for our closer today.

Arkansas--you are a good man helping your buddy out.

Tembry--great pic, you had a fantastic year. You set out with a plan and got it done, congratulations.

In the ground blind. It was freezing even with the heater but she stayed as long as I wanted too. The wind was blowing too hard and I didn't expect to see anything but I told her we would go hunting this day and she was ready. I was glowing the whole time :D.

Greg--very cool you picked up that land. I wish you much success this year in scouting it and learning all you can about it. I have never owned or had consistent access to any private land in my entire life. I hope to buy some land one day as well.

Thanks Brett. I'm still super excited about it and have been up there every weekend since getting it. Actually, I'm up there right now! Changed the batteries in my trail cams today at a balmy -2. By the time I got back to where we're staying it was down to -15.

    No, I didn't hunt!!!!

She is a tough 8 year old to be out in that weather. I love it. I try to get my kids out in the cold and have them deal with it. It builds character!

    Great Pics Guys!!

Rob, You gotta Love Alaska. It seems you are living in a Bowhunters paradise.

I had a Fun year and was able to tag 2 nice Whitetails, & a Nice Mulie. I am the most proud of the 1st 140" 8 point I tagged this year. I waited for the right time, the right wind and tagged him on my 1st set in that stand.

    Dan
