If it was legal then why did they get fined and lose draft picks? Mark McGwire never broke any MLB rules, but yet you won't see him in any HOF discussion. Heck he never even got a fine or lost anything. Cheating is cheating. Black and white.
they changed the rule in 2007, sent emails to all owners and coaches. Bill Belicheck continued to do it for the next 2 weeks, and was called on it by Eric Mangini. Bill cowher, Tony Dungy, Boomer Esaison, and MANY other said it gave the patriots no advantage, and it's all blown out of proportion by media and fans. either way it's NOT keeping him out of the HOF....so saddle up it's gonna be a bumpy ride on your Hate train!! EDIT: but yes you are right, it was black and white cut and dry, he continued to do it.
here's a great read on what spygate really was....... Fired Up: Setting the Record Straight on Spygate | Bleacher Report
that is a sore subject, McGwire, Bonds, Sosa and Pete Rose all belong in the hall, put em in another room but they deserve to be there... Ok back on topic...
It seems to be true, and even though it wouldn't have changed the outcome, I think they need to take away some picks. I'd love to see them have to forfeit the game but the NFL would never take such a strong stance.
11 out of 12 under inflated is the report. What will they do? Fine the pats and probably some draft penalty. What should they do is really the question... ~Bill
Lot of crow getting eaten for breakfast by some posters on this tread.... Is it better scrambled or over easy?
