Based on many of the crooked calls and non-calls I've seen from officials crews the last few years, I wouldn't be a bit surprised if the refs were screwing with the teams footballs on purpose. At the very least the calls show many of them are stupid enough to not be able to even read a pressure gauge. Ahh, unless that wasn't doing any good because the officials were purposely over inflating the balls. You can't fight city hall, all you can do is work around them until you get caught. If the equipment manager felt the only way he could get the balls into spec to keep Brady from complaining about the over inflated balls, was to do it behind the crooked officials backs, to compromise between not raising a stink with the officials or Brady then that's exactly what they'd do to keep their job....99-100 people would at least. That doesn't necessarily mean Brady was telling them to under inflate balls or even that he was telling them to alter the psi post inspection. In your mind or in my mind doesn't matter...evidence matters and there's still no evidence that Brady told them to deflate the balls. What matters is who did it and why. We know the who, the specifics of the why are still only suspect according to the facts.
