    What Pat did was the ultimate show of patriotism! Every American should strive to be that patriotic.

    That's what I loved about the story, we learned who Pat was as a person.

    havent seen the doc. but heard the book was pretty upsetting.... buddy of mine was in the SEAL unit that was attached to a group about 3 or so miles away. they heard the shots and were about to get lifted to support.... then the call came in not to bother.... Pat had been shot
