The "other site"

I didn't want to hijack Greg/MO 's thread Just curious... who's doing this contest for the first time and NOT HNI's? but for the new guys ( me ) anyone want to give the "cliff notes" version of the relationship between the "other site" and this one ?

I mean no harm just curious.

Once upon a time, the "Other" site, known as HNI, was owned by Mr. Todd Graff. It was the most popular hunting website in the world. We all loved the other site.

Then one day, after a decade and a half or so, Mr. Todd Graff sold the other site to some yahoo's. He went on to found the great Bowhunting.com. The other site quickly deteriorated because of the management change and a server upgrade. Many long time members had a hard time getting used to the "new" HNI.

Bowhunting.com became the "cool" place

I think that sums it up in a nutshell.....

Listen .. it's the guys that make the site .... when they had all those problems with logging in and getting too and out of a thread, they lost a TON of people ... all the cool people came here ... but alas, we are getting a few ****** bags on this site now .... as long as they are not tolerated ... and they haven't been, we will rise above the internet itself, and ultimately conquer the world ...:D

 

You know.............it's weird......since I was little, I always figured that I would play some role in world domination. Not as a leader mind you, but in some behind the scenes capacity.

So if someone needs coffee or something ,let me know.

Also Hooker - did you have it comming ?
