Word on the street was that this buck was hit by a car. Nope! Seen him this evening taking my son hunting on the last day of gun season. Making a move on him tomorrow morning. I never named him after getting pics of him this summer, just started calling him the other buck since he was #2 on the hit list. The Other Buck eventually became his name.
He looks like he could have been hit by a car and survived it.. Just proves the toughness of a deer! Great deer tho and I hope you get on him in the morning.
He wasn't hit by a car. A neighbor of mine did hit and kill a big 8 point with their car. I showed this picture to someone who saw the deer they hit. That person told me it was this deer. It wasn't. I watched him and two smaller bucks chasing a doe this evening.
That buck was taking your son hunting???? Just have him slip him a Mickey next time they hunt together :D
