That sucks Ty. I’ve only had that happen to me once any that was years ago. Jerks tore the stereo out of my Mustang.

It’s infuriating but like you said, it could have been a lot worse.

Watch this guy @LittleChief , he’s been posting selfie’s of himself on our team page. A little disturbing if you ask me. ECE1C970-5A00-49D1-838A-1E955EA4B613.png

It was an expensive day. I needed new LT tires on the truck so I got that done and got the oil changed in it. After that I picked up a hitch mounted carrier for my e-bike. It's actually a light motorcycle carrier that I can adjust to fit the e-bike and it was about $300 less expensive.

My hitch mounted gambrel is lost somewhere in FedEx land, so I'm going to have to improvise this trip. I have a rope and a gambrel out back so I guess I'll pull it and take it with me.

Tomorrow I need to put the carrier together and get everything loaded so I can leave Saturday morning for Kentucky.

That was in my younger Navy days.
(No-one on your team knows who Adam Ant is, do they?)

You think that's disturbing? Check out some of the selfies @Swamp Stalker has posted.

Ty that's sad about your truck, seems crime is getting worse in most areas.

Thanks Rick. The hitch gambrel would have been nice but it's not necessary. The company has contacted FedEx and they said if FedEx didn't locate it by tomorrow they would ship a replacement. We shall see.

Worst case scenario this trip I just take the deer to the processor and be done with it, but I hate having someone else process my deer.

Almost got on a scoreboard this morning....
I saw something approaching from the left. As the deer walked into the clearing I could see it was a doe. A large doe...certainly worth the 50 points possible. She stood about 7 yards away, broadside, staring at me with her tail flickering. I knew she was about to bolt. I could feel the grip in my left hand tightening and my heart rate incresing....my right foot was starting to twitch.

Then intinct took over, I hit he brakes, swerved to the right and she bolted away...The score would have been DEER 1 GMC 0

    Have a great day guys!

As I said on our team thread, the blessing of being young. Glad to see your fashion sense improves. Good luck in Kentucky!

That sucks, I hate those kind of people. Our neighborhood got hit a while back, my neighbor lost his pistol...dumb to leave it in your truck anyway. A months later, his truck window was broke in at his work parking garage (Vanderbilt Children's Hospital), and they got his other pistol, along with several other vehicles. I have 4k cameras all around my house, some call me nuts, I can at least have an idea of who stole my crap if it happens.

Well, nothing new on my end, just doing the menial things to prep for the season. I think I'll get out this weekend to do a little more stand prep since the humidity has chilled out, I also want to setup one more pre-set sticks.
Still no cameras out, still going with the "in the moment" hunt this season, I may set some out when the season opens to confirm any scouting sign I've seen.

All packed up and partially loaded to head to Kentucky tomorrow.

I inflated the tires on the Bakcou bike deer cart to the recommended 40 psi and one of them blew the tube out. It sounded like a gunshot right by me and scared the snot out of me. The tire is still good. I guess the bead wasn’t seated correctly.

I contacted the company and they’re shipping me two new tubes free. I tried to find one locally but no one carries them so I’m going to have to take the old hand cart this trip.

I plan to leave about 9:00 am, get there, hang my stands and go to the hotel room and get ready.
