Contest ends 31st of Jan...I'd love to be able to just be buck hunting...but only way I can hunt a buck (which only way I can provide points) is earning a reduction zone antlerless first. Time is short but plan is manage two short hunts this weekend lord willing.

IF I put an antlerless down (gonna gun hunt for this hopefully) and Brett puts a doe down I'll for sure not be picky and kill a scrawny racked buck if it means we win LOL

Checked he has. I figured he hadn't his post the other day I read as doe only hunting is left for him. Guess I'm back to 125 class buck or bust IF I put an antlerless down.

We got about 5 inches of snow this week which is the most we have had all year, so my wife and I went for a walk in the woods yesterday. It was dead calm and about 28 degrees, so perfect for enjoying a hike. I learned a thing or two about some deer travel patterns from tracks in the snow and found a good tree that needs a few sits next year. My wife said she only had a few minutes to hike and then when we got there and started walking we ended up making a two mile loop. She thought the woods were amazing, and I couldn't agree more. It was like a postcard.

@dmax4me put down another 50 points for them. Folks I may toss the towel in. I haven't even had on camera a 160 let alone a buck that would help us win this thing. I'll still give it ago however if time allows....towel is in my hand and ready to toss but clinging to it touch longer.

Don’t kill yourself trying Ty. A 160 wouldn’t win it anyway.

    We’ve had a heck of a run and it’s been a blast!

Like LC said Ty don’t don’t kill yourself. It has been a lot of fun the last three years.
Last Friday got one of my granddaughters, their first ducks. She was a trooper. It was windy and chilly. We had 3-4 foot snow drifts and all sorts of fun

Anyone hear anything from Mudlake3?? Last I knew, he had lost a doe but was still hunting. That was mid-November and looks like the last time he posted. Maybe he has an ace up his sleeve and we can still pull this out. Ty, go kill a 180's just to be sure.:deer:

He has been non-existent. @LittleChief I believe I am friends with him on Facebook but cannot for the life of me remember his name to look it up and see if he has been active there.

It has sure been a hell of a run guys! There is still a glimmer of hope, cough cough Ty. Regardless of what happens in the next few days leading up to the end of the competition I just want to say it’s been the best 3 years I’ve spent in the competition.

To go back to back and at this point be in 2nd place is pretty damn sweet and I hope share a team with each and everyone of you guys again!

No updates from Mud at all? Radio silence since mid November.......

Anyone able to make contact and see if by chance he killed a deer or two?

If not, looks like we had a great ride and got close to doing it again.

We had a great run there. It was great to get to know you guys a lot better. Like Brett said, I hope the best for you all. If any of you are ever out in Utah, let me know and we’ll do dinner, or go fishing.

We are still team 12 until we get a new team down the road. So we are not through with each other yet. Has been a great run like old carp and Ty said. I’m sure some of us will team up again.
